The 29-litre grass box is reasonable for a small to medium garden and will keep the machine light without you having to empty it every few minutes. The grass is compacted to maximise the use of the grass box space. The cable length is fairly standard 10 metres, so if you need more you will require an extension cord.

Cutting Heights– If you want to change the cutting height this isn’t too hard. There’s three different height settings and a range of 20mm to 60mm. Now 20mm isn’t really, really short – so if you like a short finish on your lawn this won’t do the job.20mm is a perfectly tidy finish though. Anyway to adjust the wheels you just simply move the front and rear wheels. The axle of the wheels slots into 3 different grooves which determine the cut height. When using this lawnmower, I’d suggest waiting until your grass has medium growth instead to help protect your lawn over time. In addition, it has a durable metal cutting blade for long life, a generous sized 10 meter cable, weighs only 8.4kg and has three adjustable cutting heights ranging from 20-60mm. This mower will leave you with a beautiful, well maintained lawn.

Overall, the Flymo EasiMow 300R was relatively safe. Cable clips are provided to tightly secure the dangly bits of wire to the handlebars. The manual doesn’t say where to pin the clips, but I put mine on the bottom part of the handle, since I thought that was best. For the price you pay, the Flymo EasiMow 300R is well worth it and one of the best budget electric lawn mowers on the market. Except for the built-in rear roller (which I didn’t think worked at all), all the features performed well – particularly the close edge cutting abilities.
