About this deal

You won’t want to put this book down. It’s intriguing and draws emotions of suspense and curiosity. I loved this read and encourage everyone to grab it as your next book. Out of all the “housewife” thrillers I’ve read, this one features the most deliciously evil villain!

Lastly, there's Karen. The least aggressive socially of the bunch, Karen's still hiding some big secrets of her own. This article contains major spoilers for One of Us Is Lying season 1, episode 8, “One of Us Is Dead”, including the One of Us Is Lying ending. Evil incarnate and a brutal double murder shifted Alex’s focus from wants to needs. He needed to keep his family safe. He needed to find her. He needed to know what happened at the lake. I love how the story is told through multiple points of view . Although some characters you will love to hate, the character development was on point and these women really came to life. I would consider this a bit of a thriller but it does have a bit of humor . Analyze the writing style of the author and how it contributed to the overall tone and mood of the book. Did the author use descriptive language, vivid imagery, or other literary techniques to create an immersive reading experience? How did the writing style impact your enjoyment of the mystery? Two years ago, Simon Kelleher and his gossip app had Bayview High in its grip. So when he died of a mysterious allergic reaction during detention, it inevitably became the talk of the town.

I'm not sure this will be the last time we see the Bayview Crew, and I never say no to another installment, but I'm telling you, this is the best book in the series, and you shouldn't miss it! Olivia, another gem, is poised to take over as queen of the day, since Shannon is about to lose he place. Olivia is detestable and that is being kind. Manipulative and cunning, she's the one who would cut the throat of anyone who tried to get ahead of her. Crystal is the younger woman who marries Blake. She came from Texas and has never been around wealth. Just wait until she sees what she’s dealing with. Simich, Ricardo (September 25, 2021). "Spy: Kiwis Starring in US High-School Crime Drama". The New Zealand Herald. Archived from the original on February 3, 2023 . Retrieved February 3, 2023. Now, unfortunately, for the not so great aspects. First and foremost, there were A LOT of characters to keep straight. But the real drag of the book was how contrived it all felt. I can’t really explain without providing at least one massive spoiler, but needless to say, it all felt decidedly too far-fetched by the end. Unlike the first two in the series which had their own twisted premises, most of this one was spent regurgitating the past. It almost felt like the events taking place were a subplot versus the star attraction itself.

This is definitely a popcorn thriller 🍿, and so well done at that. I loved it, and look forward to reading more from this author.
