Bad news: it can't- it can't whisk two also. The whisk does not reach the bottom of the bowl for such a small quantity. This is using the smaller (an quite beautiful, if I may add) SS bowl, that is supposed to work for such tasks. To date it has handled effortlessly anything from chopping bread for breadcrumbs to stirring a stiffening fudge mix. Quiet, competent stylish, it is better than any other mixer we have yet used (over 50+ years!). It is not a multi-tool. It mixes anything beautifully and is easy to handle. It is so good that we have gone for separate kitchen appliances instead of the multi-tool, so we also have the blender from the same manufacturer, which is also solid, reliable and blends anything tried to date. Obviously more machines take up more space. For us it’s definitely worth it. Anyone with very limited space might prefer one of the better multis.

I've noticed that my initial stand mixer and my Kenwood struggled with bread dough. The sheer density of the mix, compared to cake mix, buttercream, eggs or cream makes even my 900W Plastic kenwood shake and struggle and after I started making rolls, buns and bread in that, I realised why people bought the expensive stand mixers- you need a a solid, heavy,preferably all metal mixer to be able to take the load for such dough
