About this deal

It’s the groove in the inner bore that makes the difference: it grips the lip of the nozzle much better than the usual smooth eartips and this provides better comfort, as the tip is more stable, while also providing a more uniform sound quality across earphones: the distance between the sound port and the end of the eartips is constant, so you get the optimal distance that SpinFit found. Speaking of sound, I find the CP500 to be neutral as they don’t modify the sound significantly – for better or for worse. The Spinfit CP-100 is probably the most popular Spinfit eartips around. They are also the most widely available one. The original CP-100 model had a fairly stiff, color-coded stem (with color changing upon size) and the outer material was also fairly stiff. This model suited a number of IEMs especially those with a shallow nozzle (e.g. Dunu Luna, pictured below). The CP-100 was pretty much a utilitarian eartip, as in it would suit most models without affecting the FR too much or causing discomfort. I personally found the surface of the tip to be somewhat itchy after long-term use, and the stiffer outer layer didn’t have the best grip with the inner-ear wall. As a last bit, the silicone is actually medical grade, so the added benefit is you shouldn’t have issues with allergies and other adverse reactions. SpinFit CP500

The patented aspect of the SpinFit ear tips is the concave 3D axis towards the tip. This allows the ear tip to flex and bend as it pushes into your ear canal. Image credit: SpinFit While there are several ear tip companies in the IEM space, SpinFit aim to define the niche with: supreme comfort, an optimal seal, enhanced sound quality and simple installation. Ear tips are an often-underrated component when choosing the perfect personal audio set-up. They have the ability to fine-tune and even tilt the sound signature of in-ear monitors without the use of aftermarket cables. Among the rest, the CP-360 should be in your stable if you’re into TWS earphones, they are one of the few TWS-specific eartip after all. The CP-500 is a specialist eartip that can be unpredictable, and being the widest-bore tip in Spinfit’s lineup offers something unique. Finally, the CP-240 is something I couldn’t find a use for and the CP-800 didn’t perform as well as the tips it’s supposed to replace (for me). So these two don’t excite me as much. SpinFit eartips have been one of our favorites here since first trying out a pair that was bundled with the DUNU Luna. The main appeal is that they have the comfortability of silicone tips, but provide a better seal than the average silicone tip due to their namesake patented swivel technology. Basically, there is a joint near the top of the eartip (the part inserted into your ear) which enables it to bend and conform more completely to the shape of your inner ear. They do balance out even harmonic signatures providing some better contrasting and odd harmonic flavor. However, quite remarkably, the SpinFit tips do not exacerbate sibilance or compressed sounds at the top-end – this is a big strength especially as it able to portray micro-details without enhancing perceived clarity.Customers have to bear any form of custom/import/processing fees that are applicable for your parcel.

By their inherent design, silicone models are generally inferior to foam when it comes to prolonged listening sessions. However, unlike some other silicone models, the SpinFit single-flange tips do not irritate or feel particularly obstructive. The use of premium-grade silicone here has definitely aided a more ergonomic listening experience and other companies should follow suit. The main differences with the CP360 are the height and the radius: the CP1025 are shorter and slightly narrower (12 x 6.7 mm vs 13 x 8.5 mm), so they don’t go all the way inside the ear canal but manage to seal it effectively thanks to their wide radius. This also means that they fit most charging cases better, as they are shorter. Soundwise, the CP155 are neutral and I can’t hear significant differences when compared to the CP100. If anything, the better seal allows bass to get further down, but it’s a minimal difference which is highly dependent on the earphones you are listening to. SpinFit CP240 From the perspective of comfort, although they’re nowhere near the level of triple-flange tips, it still takes a bit to get used to them. They’re much longer than the other earphones and therefore get deeper in your ears, which may be a bit unsettling. I found it’s also a matter of inserting them at the right angle, as otherwise they become very uncomfortable and don’t sound good. If you get the insertion right, though, you get a great level of comfort. I find it inferior to the single-flange tips, but great for dual-flange ones. SpinFit CP360

The CP240 is a double flange eartip. Double flange eartips are useful for listeners who have larger ear canals and have a hard time getting a good seal. They can also provide improved isolation in general. On the CP240, the SpinFit pivot comes in between the first and second flange, to provide flexibility at the top for the second flange. The CP100 puts a litte more bass into the Sony XBA-4. And since the XBA-4 is already strong in the tweeter, this ear tip offers better musical balance. SpinFit CP100 with Sony XBA-4 Sennheiser IE 300 with SpinFit CP100 The peculiarity of the CP100 is that they are tall (9.9 mm), but they are actually quite wider at 13.3 mm. This means that they won’t need to go very deep to seal off your ear canal and therefore will also be fine for earphones with short nozzles. Thanks to this good seal, bass is well extended and controlled, while the rest of the range comes out as well balanced and with no particular colouration and the same sensation of good control as in the lower area. As a whole, the sound is mostly unaltered and this also includes the “bad” side of this, as the tips won’t reduce peaks e.g. in the treble area.
