The game begins with a player choosing to start a career path or start college on their first turn. The 3 best things about this book is that it's short and sweet, well written & the authors viewpoint/argument is easy to comprehend! But in MY OPINION, I think what Florence Scovel-Shinn suggests & argues about in her book about wealth, happiness, health, love & success; is mostly a whole load of old tosh! at first blush, i didn't like this book b/c i totally do not agree with the "manifestation" belief system so prevalent today. it is a very small god, made in our own self-serving image, who can be made to do the bidding of our petty desires: the gimmee-gimmee god.

Ch 5- the law of carma and the law of forgiveness : man recieve only that which he gives. The game of life is the game of boomerangs. Man thoughts, deeds and words return to him sooner or latery with outstandings accuracy. I believe also that the emphasis on women as home makers shows the book's age. How Feminists would dislike this book! I am not sure if I am a feminist but I did not DISLIKE it. Some of the book's basic messages are true. Positivity DOES attract positivity. But I am not so sure just wishing for a Mercedes will in fact get you one.

To win, you must have more money than your fellow players when you enter retirement age (end of the game). Just like in authentic life in this fun game, everything never works out the way you planned.
