Stay away from it!!!!! This is probably the worst GPS ever created. If you rely on GPS alone and are not vigilant, you will most likely get into an accident. Several times, that GPS took me to low bridge areas. Moreover, it took me to rivers, dead-ends and bridges as my destinations. The posted speed limit is not accurate a lot of times. Thank God it shut off completely after three (3) months of usage. If there were penal laws for bad GPS, this one would probably be on death row. Lol. Just kidding a bit!!!! Safe and easy navigation on the BIG SCREEN. See your next instruction better on our biggest and sharpest screen yet. Bigger menus and buttons on the extra-large 15 cm (6"), high-resolution screen make input a touch simpler. Software update that enables users to easily renew a lapsed service subscription directly on the device.

The world's biggest database of real travel times is built into every TomTom device. Which means you'll get the fastest routes and most accurate arrival times. It's genius! This unit was a disappointment. If you want to use traffic updates, you have to connect it to your cellphone. I guess that’s because traffic info from the internet is more accurate but it’s a lot of hassle to keep both devices synced up. Avoid tunnels on your route : Don’t like driving in tunnels? No problem, to avoid them go to Settings> Route Planning> Avoid on every route: Tunnels.

Overall though, the TomTom Go 6000 is an exceptional sat nav. Kudos to TomTom for rethinking the device from the ground up to produce an even more-compelling companion to your journeys.The TomTom Go 6000 is an impressive piece of kit.
