About this deal

Thought we were done with the reveals? Think again, as it seems Hasbro has saved the biggest for last! Coming to us from IGN, we now the have our official reveal for the long-rumored Transformers Legacy Titan Cybertron Metroplex! I heard about this rumor months ago and was hoping it to be false, mostly because I have the Generations Metroplex from the thrilling 30 line and it's perfect. I wish they'd just re-release that for all the people that didn't get it. I figured this new version was coming, but I was still hoping for a Nemesis to go along with the Ark. And a Titan or Commander class subline of TF spaceships would have been great. A few ideas: From G1: The Nemesis, Decepticon underwater HQ, Meg's ship from Ultimate Doom, Autobot Flagship from Dark Awakening; From TF: the Movie: Autobot Shuttles, Galvatron's ship, Junkion Ship, Quintesson ship; From Beast Wars: Axalon, Darksyde. They could have release a Titan and a commander every year:

EPIC MODES: Action figure converts from robot to excavator mode in 52 steps. Features flip-down welding mask in robot mode Transformers: Legacy action figures are great kids’ toys and exciting collectibles for fans of all ages. My hope is more for a future Ark playset that opens up to non-ceilinged spaces to set up scenes with normal sized Transformers. Ditch the robot mode and just have a bonus figure be the Transformer. Bumper would be great. Universes collide! Transformers: Legacy brings together fan-favorite characters from across the Transformers multiverse. Figures feature deco inspired by their universe with an updated Generations design. In honor of the almost 40-year legacy of Transformers entertainment, the fandoms come together from across the Transformers multiverse, all in one toy line.

It's time for the this year Titan. In my experience, he had a cold reception when it was revealed, almost the same as the Ark last year. AllNewSuperRobot wrote:What a strange and random thing to have as an altmode. Each of the four colony worlds had a different theme: Via Bilibili user 流沙鸢盘 we have our first in-hand look at the new Transformers Legacy Titan Class Cybertron Universe Metroplex. Do we have the measurements on this figure yet? I imagine it will be a bit shorter than 2 feet because of the huge weapon accessory.

That's why I mentioned the use of expanding/collapsing sections. But yeah.. the Ark coming out at the same time that the core figures did, was a massive "wtf" with Hasbro there… that should have been a given that it should have been core figures compatible for sure. True, he may not be something for those who focused on G1 characters. But as a Titan, let's find out That's been my biggest gripe really, I wish that they would do an actual base with internal rooms and such for the smaller figures… using expanding/collapsing sections, someone could engineer something mind-blowing amazing but it's yet to happen… CYBERTRON-INSPIRED DESIGN: This Legacy Series Transformers 22-inch Cybertron Universe Metroplex robot toy is inspired by the animated series, Transformers: Cybertron, updated with a Generations-style design Even an Imaginext variation would only accommodate core class as the figures are only about 3 inches tall.
