A Very Lovely Dream: One Week in Twin Peaks (HD, 27 min.) – Audio interviews with Kyle MacLachlan, Mark Frost and a few others are played over impressionistic footage of the cast and crew arriving at the Snoqualmie locations in September 2015. Every disc opens with a forced DTS trailer that grows pretty annoying with repetition. Although the episodes and movie are encoded with chapter stops, the disc menus offer no Scenes Selection guide, presumably at the insistence of David Lynch (who hates disc chapters).

they all have about them a sense of mystery. The mystery of life. Sometimes, the mystery of death. The mystery of the woods, the woods Image Galleries– Photos taken on set by actor Richard Beymer (Ben Horne), official publicity stills, and images of the 'Twin Peaks' collectible trading card set. Directors: David Lynch , Lesli Linka Glatter , Tim Hunter , Caleb Deschanel , Duwayne Dunham , Todd Holland Obviously we can only speculate. CBS & Paramount probably had a very specific release in mind and 4K, as of right now, is perhaps not the priority we’d prefer. It’s also worth mentioning that CBS & Paramount may have reservations with the 4K format and it’s inability to eclipse the popularity of DVD & Blu-ray. Samsung no longer produces 4K players and it’s difficult to guess what the home video market will look like in a few years beyond the offer of digital content. I love physical media and I don’t want it to go anywhere. popularity, they demanded the resolution of Laura Palmer's murder, which came just eight episodes in. With the central mystery all butThough imperfect, 'Twin Peaks' was the richest, boldest, darkest, most innovative, most engrossing, and most wonderfully strange show to ever air on network television, and it hasn't lost a bit of its power over the past two decades. Behind The Curtain: behind the scenes/making of footage for all 18 parts of the Limited Event Series Other new extras include a new sit down Lynch himself has with Lee, Zabriskie and Wise, which is split into two sections. In one, he speaks to them in-character as Laura, Sarah and Leland, asking them how they are now (Yes, even if their respective character is dead). The other is Lynch having a more down to Earth chat with the three about their memories and reflections about working on the series. In both cases, it’s really interesting material. The Return to Twin Peaks documentary about the Twin Peaks Fest included in the Gold Box edition was a great watch, but Jason Deehr made an epic compilation of some of the fest’s best moments especially for the 20th edition of the festival. I think it deserves a place on a Twin Peaks BD release as well. now-infamous 1992 theatrical prequel Fire Walk with Me; sans Boyle and with a distressing eleventh hour change that, by

The Blu-ray release of Twin Peaks: The Entire Mystery features twenty-nine episodes, the feature film Fire Walk with Me, and Log Lady Intros (Discs 1-8, HD): Each episode of the two-season series features a brief, winding, often utterly bizarre introduction I got the Xfiles BluRay collection and found that its called Akte X, and all the episode names are in German, which makes it hard to find the favorites. Postcards from the Cast (SD, 60 min.) – Random interview snippets from twenty members of the cast, some of which pertain to 'Twin Peaks' and many that don't. Among others, Richard Beymer basks in the memory of trying psychedelic drugs, Michael J. Anderson describes his first experience of fans freaking out at seeing him on the street, Kyle MacLachlan talks about being cast in 'Dune', and Al Strobel tells the horrifying story of how he lost his arm.

Like Laura Palmer’s double life, it’s no secret to us that Twin Peaks is coming to Blu-ray. Since 2011, co-creator Mark Frost has repeatedly confirmed that a Blu-ray release was in progress, hinting several times at the possible inclusion of Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me and its deleted scenes. Recently, Bill Hunt from The Digital Bits said that multiple sources have indeed confirmed that the imminent Twin Peaks Blu-ray will not just include the complete series but the prequel movie as well. As noted above, plenty of previously released/produced extras have made it over to this new set, including those produced for the Gold Box and even another documentary on the show and its reaction that was first on the Fire Walk With Me DVD. tender loving care afforded the show -- but it still delivers and bests everything release that's come before it, domestic or intentional. Twin Peaks Promos (Disc 6, HD, 1 minute): A pair of promos advertising the series' move to a different night, presented in Pieces of Pie: Shooting at the Mar T (aka RR) Diner (SD, 10 min.) – An interview with the owner of the café that became an iconic part of the series.

meaning. It is a story of many, but it begins with one. And I knew her. The one leading to the many is Laura Palmer. Laura is the one." In the spring of 1990, 'Twin Peaks' was utterly unlike anything that had ever aired on American television. In fact, it still is. Despite countless imitators that have attempted to copy one aspect or another of its formula, no other series has ever fully replicated its perfect blend of elements. Frankly, no other series has ever had the audacity to even try. The ambition of this show is still staggering. The fact that Lynch and Frost pulled it off within the restrictive confines of network television is a miracle. The show features moments of raw, searing emotions, such as Sarah Palmer's unbearable howl of agony over the telephone line when she realizes that her daughter is dead, interspersed with other moments of levity, including FBI Special Agent Dale Cooper's childlike enthusiasm for cherry pie and fir trees, without any jarring tonal disconnection. The power of Lynch's vision holds everything together. It flows beautifully from one extreme to the other. Not counting foreign editions, this is the second (technically third, I suppose) appearance for Fire Walk With Me on Blu-ray in North America. The first was included with the impressive ten-disc Twin Peaks: The Entire Mystery box set released by CBS Films and Paramount in 2014. That set was later shorn of a couple supplement discs and reissued in 2016 as the awkwardly-titled Twin Peaks: The Original Series, Fire Walk With Me & The Missing Pieces collection. For whatever it's worth, the Criterion release marks the first time Fire Walk With Me is available on Blu-ray in this region on its own, without the TV series. Are you even looking for some Stylish looking printed shirt , then this seems to be right place for you, There are endless varieties which would help you even more stylish, amazing elephant printed shirt yes, but with a growing fanbase as fascinated by the series and its strange smalltown mysteries as it is by the story of its production,Promos (HD, 5 min.) – Five more ads: A 'Wizard of Oz' parody, 'Twin Peaks' T-shirts, holiday greeting, armed forces tribute, and multiple takes of a Super Bowl spot. Showtime has released a brand new trailer for the upcoming Twin Peaks. The 18-hour limited event series will debut with a two-hour premiere on Sunday, May 21 at 9PM ET/PT.

Two Versions of Series Pilot (Disc 1, HD): Both the original 94-minute U.S. broadcast cut and alternate 113-minute international Deschanel, Lenny Von Dohlen, Charlotte Sewart and Robyn Lively discuss what brought them to the series, the production, and the show's and dialogue. Want to watch them individually? Sans text and other menu overlays? Here's your chance. Atmospherics include "Trees/Woods," Murdered homecoming queen Laura Palmer once famously appeared to FBI Special Agent Dale Cooper in a dream and told him, "I'll see you again in 25 years." Remarkably, she actually followed through on that promise. The Blu-ray collection carries over a significant amount of content (but not all) found previously in either the original Season 1 DVD set from Artisan Entertainment, the later Definitive Gold Box Edition collection from CBS and Paramount, or the separate 'Fire Walk With Me' DVD from New Line. Some features have been upgraded to high-definition quality.

and "Something About Johnny" -- followed by a 6-minute standard definition reel of previously released scenes. Among its many other extras mainly pertaining to the TV series, the Entire Mystery Blu-ray had a half-hour featurette called "Reflections on the Phenomenon of Twin Peaks" that was created for the Fire Walk With Me DVD in 2002. Frankly, it was rather pretentious and annoying.
