Whew. I have found my newest YA Fantasy series addiction. Orphan twins Tory and Darcy find out they are actually Fae after their 18th birthday. And not just any Fae, they are the heirs to the throne and they only need to graduate from Zodiac Academy to claim their throne. Max: “Nothing in this world could break me the way you can, Gerry. Nothing could make me falter or blink other than the need to protect you. I can’t watch them lash you to this thing with us. It would rip the last pieces of me free of my body and destroy them more certainly than anything else.” Tory: “I expected a tale where the beast was defeated, the treasure was claimed, and everyone lived happily ever after.” Leon: “Or I’ll smash your nuts in with a hammer. Nuts that might be more accessible than you even realise.”I need to know how this will end, and I love this series, but I am pissed they are dragging this out. Darius and Heirs lengthened reunion where Seth doesn’t leave his side. Xavier too omfg can’t forget his brother. But the darkness within me, isn’t nearly as bad as the darkness that lives around me. The four heirs will stop at nothing to destroy the lives of me and my sister.

The rebels managed to find another hiding spot and Geraldine wakes and heals herself by eating aconite and shifting to her Cerberus form. Once she regains consciousness she finds Xavier and helps heal him.The book begins with Darcy having arrived at a mountain after following a falling star when she left the battlefield. She gets to a lake where the star landed in and it emits a bright light and Darcy sees a vision of her parents that was sent to her from the past. But one thing is for sure, I will make certain the Vegas get the big A.S.S. party they deserve for their birthday or I’ll die trying. Succulent squids be damned! When Orion’s elicit relationship is found out, he is sent where no fae wants to go. Meanwhile Darius and Tory have to live with the consequences of Tory’s decision from the last book. Trying to see these two work through that nearly broke my heart. I get that they want to make all the money they can out of this series but I just really want the conclusion.
