About this deal

One of the most notable differences between either is in their overdrive gear. The 200-4R transmission has a .67:1 which is considerably more aggressive than the 700R4’s .70:1 overdrive gear. An overdrive gear of this nature on the 200-4R is equivalent to a low RPM when one is driving down a highway. Here’s a more precise breakdown of the overdrive gear ratios of both transmissions: First Gear So if you guys have any experience or comparision between the Nikon versus Contax/Canon 80-200 f4 lens, please share it, thank you very much. If you are looking for a way to upgrade your classic muscle car’s Powerglide or TH350, then you would be hard-pressed to find a better answer than the 700R4, or the 200-4R. Yet while the 700R4 is often seen as the more popular successor to the throne of the TH350, the 700R4 is not going to squeeze into every build, not is it necessarily the best fit for your car – especially if you are going forward with a lot of aftermarket work in mind. The first phase, responsive BCMS, is a minimum version designed to achieve a basic capacity to act in emergency situations with relatively little time and effort. “To create a responsive BCMS you first need to establish responsive structures, for example emergency teams and a line and staff structure, develop an early warning system and determine a suitable room that is available even in emergencies,” explains Jung. But that is not all, she continues: “In addition, you need to look at the most urgent business processes and examine which of them can be protected using simple means that may already be on hand.” Generally, the individual business processes are evaluated by means of a business impact analysis. The objective is to find out which processes are time-critical and to what extent, i.e., how long they can be unavailable for.Above: And now to the corner where the RF is a little sharper, but there’s not much in it. Closing the aperture a stop or two makes them pretty much identical in the corner. Above: so here it is now from its own closest focusing distance where if I toggle between the two lenses, you’ll see the newer RF model actually delivering almost the same coverage, in fact a fraction tighter. Despite this, they are still a great choice of transmission if one is looking to increase the MPG (Miles Per Gallon) and reduce the RPM as the vehicle moves down the highway. Your choice of which should be determined by the use you want to put it to. Gearstar builds high performance automatic transmissions, and we highly recommend the 200-4R because of its straightforward installation and reasonable price tag. Because this transmission is an analog model, it doesn’t rely on a computer to tell it what to do like its “E” siblings. This is part of the reason why the price tag is smaller than other transmissions.

Above: More importantly if you look closer, you’ll see the RF lens is much sharper at its closest focusing distance than the EF model, especially at the edges, so in terms of quality at close range it represents an upgrade, but don’t expect much or even any difference in magnification at their respective closest distances. Above: Now let’s switch the EF lens on the right for the RF 70-200mm f2.8L at 200mm f2.8, and again you’ll see the benefit of the shallower depth-of-field for providing greater subject separation, and as before, the edges look a little smoother from this lens than the f4 model on the left. Above: Next up the view at 135mm, starting with the RF 70-200mm f4 which in the middle again looks very sharp with no benefit to stopping-down further. Moving into the corners again reveals the excellent performance of the lens with crisp details at f4 and again little benefit to closing the aperture further. Today, many vehicles still use the 200-4R transmission to give older cars an overdrive gear and more horsepower. Features of GM 200-4R Transmissions Above: Comparing the far corners and again it’s a very close call. Arguably the RF lens is a fraction sharper, but I wouldn’t complain about the EF performance here, and again if you’re shooting a landscape you could always stop down to f5.6 or f8 to match the quality.

The good news for MFT is that vignetting isn't an issue like it is for FF. Compared to larger formats, MFT images look very even across the whole frame in nearly all IQ properties. So, if edge-to-edge consistency with a bit of softness overall is your thing, MFT is a great choice. Personally, I don't see a real advantage to MFT when bigger-sensor bodies are neither more expensive nor bigger, offer wider view angles with the same lenses, and have sufficient pixel density so that an MFT-sized crop would still give you pretty much what an actual MFT sensor delivers with old lenses... but no doubt moderator Tom will post a response to this about how much better he feels MFT ergonomics are... or you can just imagine he posted that and we'll save him the effort. Anyway, my point really is that MFT folks have to hunt to find lenses that look sharp at the pixel level, while FF users worry more about vignetting and corner performance in general. Technical Properties *Flow at the maximum outlet pressure (P2) guaranteed until an inlet pressure equal to 2P2 + 1 bar. I'm using sony A6000 and looking for a 80-200 f4 tele zoom lens. I found these 3 lens which fits to my target: Above: Interestingly the RF f2.8L model seen here positions its control ring closest to the lens mount and swaps the position of the focus and zoom rings.
