About this deal

The HP Z32k has all the connectivity you could hope for in a premium business monitor. The screen’s high resolution and pixel density, coupled with superior color coverage and accuracy, make it ideal for workers who prepare photos, graphics, and video for online use. However, those who use the Adobe RGB space for processing photos and art for printing would be better off getting a professional graphic arts monitor with better coverage of that color space. The Z32k doesn't come cheap, but its features and performance earn it our Editors' Choice nod as an elite productivity monitor. The monitor may also have built-in speakers. On a good multimedia panel, they should be a cut above the typical low-powered versions found on most monitors. As mentioned earlier, if audio output is a deciding factor, look for displays with speakers rated at 2 watts or better. Hard drive retention: Hard drive retention is not available on models with a soldered hard drive, including XPS 9315 2in1, Chromebooks or Venue tablets, except the Venue 11 Pro.

Philips 245E1S - 24 Inch QHD Monitor, 75Hz, 4ms, IPS, AMD

We’ve spent hundreds of hours researching and testing monitors of all shapes and sizes to find the best one for any need (or budget). If you want amonitor for office work, you don't get as much screen space as larger displays. Still, this size is good if you need something simple or even if you want to buy two to place side-by-side.As many monitors of this size are focused on gaming, they usually don't have productivity-specific features, but they're still fine to use for work. Adjustability: Ideally, you want a monitor on a stand that can rise/sink, pivot, swivel and tilt. You can make do with a cheaper, less adjustable stand if you’re prepared to wedge books or similar underneath, but it’s nowhere near as convenient or stable as a proper stand. The UP2720Q has the full complement of ergonomic features, and a wide range of ports that include two Thunderbolt 3 ports, one of which supports up to 90 watts of power delivery to charge an attached laptop. The real draw of this panel, though, is its colorimeter and calibration ability. Who It's For If you have to share a display with a coworker or family member, consider a model with an ergonomic stand that lets you position the screen for your most comfortable viewing angle. A fully adjustable stand offers tilt, swivel, and height adjustments, and lets you pivot or rotate the screen between landscape and portrait (horizontal and vertical) orientation. If you tend to attach and detach USB devices often, look for a monitor with built-in USB ports. Ideally, at least two of these ports will be mounted on the side of the cabinet, making it easy to plug in flash drives and other USB peripherals. If you want to get the best from HDR games and videos, then set your sights on higher certifications (600, 800 or 1,000) with local dimming technology – DisplayHDR 400 displays just don’t get bright enough to do HDR justice. The Dell 24 Touch P2424HT is an affordable touch-screen desktop monitor for general-purpose business or personal use. It has a bright IPS screen with excellent contrast and full coverage of the sRGB color space, but its relatively low (FHD, aka 1080p) resolution limits its artistic use to casual photo or video editing, and if you want a stylus, you’ll have to supply your own.

The MSI MEG 342C QD-OLED is an OLED gaming display complete with a leisurely 1800R curvature and a widescreen aspect ratio. While it’s neither as slim nor as stylish as other OLED competitors, the 3,440-by-1,440-pixel monitor impresses with excellent performance, low input lag, and a 175Hz refresh rate. It's not a bargain, but it's fairly priced. A generous selection of ports and solid software for preventing burn-in fills out the picture. It’s an excellent entry point into the OLED gaming world. Who It’s For The HP E45c G5 fits in either a traditional office setting or a home office, and can perform many operations that usually require dual monitors thanks to its split-screen modes.

Large-screen productivity panels are a luxury, to be sure. If you're in the market, you'll want to select one that offers more than just a big screen, and thanks to the UltraSharp 43's unique input options, it fits the (enormous) bill. It offers outstanding ergonomics, including swivel adjustments with 90 degrees in either direction, meaning it's incredibly easy to adjust, which is ideal if you want to buy two of them to place side-by-side. It also has wide viewing angles that keep the image consistent from the sides, so you can easily share your screen with someone else. Its good reflection handling is useful if you want to use it in a room with a few lights, but it doesn't get bright enough to fight glare from bright light sources. Despite its low price, it has a color-accurate sRGB mode, so images look life-like without calibration.
