The book automatically starts off with a whopping r*pe scene in the second chapter after Clove, the main character, discovers that she's a product of such things, and multiple men r*pe her mother in front of her as punishment. Now, it isn't a heavily detailed scene, but it's still one that is traumatic, especially for Clove. However, all things trauma seem to be thrown overboard along with our main character here because once the three "savage" alphas rescue her, all her problems are solved.
