Hi Dominic just wanted to thank you for out flat cat windows guards. We are so pleased with them. I can't tell you how fabulous it is to sleep in a cool bedroom knowing our cats are safe (and it seems to have stopped the spiders coming in as well - way hay! fabulous). We have slept in a sauna of a bedroom since I woke up at 3 am one morning about 8 years ago to find one of my cats teetering on the edge of the fanlight window ready to jump from the first floor window - very very scary so we just kept the windows closed from then on!! Plus off course all the bugs that would come in univited also. Thank you very much. We would be happy to recommend these :-). Really appreciate you spending the time to talk me through it all on the phone and for recommending the narrower fixings, they work perfectly with my window frames.- I received my custom Flat Cats today and wanted to just let you know I think they are brilliant and have been really impressed with the service from the company. In 2005 I spent a year living in a second floor flat. With its large south facing windows, boy was I glad that I had spent the money on building a Flat Cat. I managed to stay cool (or cooler than I was before) and the cats were very happy and safe. They actually seemed to take up residence at the window, getting all the smells from outside and toasting themselves in the sun at the same time.

Thank you for such an informative post. Yes, this always worries me and I make sure that the screens are securely affixed by clips every year. it would be horrible if one of my babies fell out! I can finally open my windows and not be worried about Elsie my cat getting out. The let the light in and are so easy to use. If your cat is a window watcher, you might be worried about your window screens. Screens on the windows can be a tempting scratching post for your cat.
