About this deal

When colouring the hair to the same or to a darker shade new synthetic pigment molecules are added to the hair’s natural pigment changing its colour. Whereas in lightening the hair’s natural colour the darker natural pigments need first to be broken down then replaced with the new synthetic pigments. You simply mix bottles A & B, apply all over the hair. Then wait for an hour (I know!!) Rinse and apply bottle C which is a buffer that removes any trace of colour. The hair is then left ready for any future colouring treatments. When hair is bleached or lightened by hydrogen peroxide, the natural pigments have been lifted out of the hair. Therefore, you cannot restore them by applying a hair colour remover. While most hair colour removers require that you wait several days or even weeks before you apply new colour, you can re-colour your hair immediately after using the L’OREAL ColorZap colour remover. In fact, L’OREAL advices that you plan to re-dye your hair immediately. After See ColourB4 in action Extra Strength Use ColourB4 Extra to remove dark colours and colour build-up

LauraSummer Thats what I was dreading,Green hair!! I didnt even imagine having bright orange streaks! I thought it would be so simple "/ Some people found that they could leave their hair that way after de-colouring it. The remover works evenly without leaving any blotches and uneven coloured spots. But if you are not comfortable with the final colour, you can use a dye immediately after. What we like about it: The Scott Cornwall Decolour strips out all kinds of permanent hair dye and you can reapply hair colour immediately. or anything you can suggest? I get so much lately it's driving me mad so any assistance is very much appreciated.this subject for a long time and yours is the best I've came upon so far. But, what about the bottom line? Are you positive in regards to the source? This hair colour remover works only on permanent hair colour. It is not effective on temporary dye nor will it remove cuticle staining.

Decolour Remover contains an ingredient called a ‘Reduction Agent’. Reduction Agent ingredients work in the opposing principle to oxidation, which is the technology from which permanent colouring works. A notable factor about Reduction Agents is they have a sulphur smell, which can often be likened to eggs. The remover must be rinsed with hot (comfortable) water; otherwise, there is a chance the odour could cling to the hair for several days after the removal treatment. How to remedy Part 2 Remover: Aqua, Citric Acid, Cetearyl Alcohol, Hydroxyethyl Cellulose, Polysorbate 20, PEG-40 Hydrogenated Caster Oil, Parfum Phenoxyethanol, Ethylhexylgycerin, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Ctironellol, Hexyl Cinnamal, Linalool. Colour build-up occurs after artificial permanent colour is continually applied throughout the hair with every regrowth application. If you have lightened and wish to return to your natural shade, you should apply a gentle tone on tone colourant one shade lighter than your natural colour. Please note: ColourB4 Ultimate will help to remove unwanted colour and lighten the hair, however depending on the condition of your hair, and if it has previously been coloured it may not completely remove the colour.

Full Instructions

We advise, and it is stated on the product instructions, everyone should perform a strand test before dyeing their hair, even if they have used the product before, as that ensures they will achieve the right result

I was mortified when I washed off the solution after an hour of waiting! Not to mention the recommended 20 minutes worth of rinsing! My actual hair colour is now the same as before. I also have these rather fetching patchy orange streaks on the top of my head. It removes both permanent and semi permanent colour, and also helps to remove build up – perfect if you have been colouring your hair for years.ColourB4 gives you the freedom to change your hair colour and be the colour you want to be. ColourB4 is the easy way to remove hair colour at home. Simply comb in, wait, rinse away and your hair is free of colour without using ammonia or bleach One thing to note: When talking about hair colour removers, we are talking about permanent hair colour removers. Most hair colour removers work best on permanent, not semi-permanent, hair colour. For semi-permanent dye, you can either rinse it out or wait for it to fade on its own. Scott Cornwall Decolour Remover is a super strength formula, specially created to remove permanent colour and dark build-up. Formulated with a premium, double conditioning protein system, hair health is retained throughout the removal process. Unwanted dark or tonal colours are immediately removed without stress or trauma to the hair. This is another hair colour remover designed to work on both permanent and semi-permanent dye. Like the Colour B4 permanent and semi-permanent remover, it also smells somewhat awful. It will be some days before the smell is out of your hair. It's going to be ending of mine day, except before finish I am reading this impressive article to improve my knowledge.

Hair colour remover is effective, but it does smell pretty grim. You can get rid of the lingering odour by using some natural remedies: baking soda mixed with water in a spray and sprayed all over your hair is a good solution. It's all very scientific and to do with colour molecules and pigment and melanin (you'd all be yawning your heads off if i explained)

Use ColourB4 Extra to remove dark colours and colour build-up

I do however have a colour, an emergency colour I bought beforehand. I am now wondering if its worth the risk as the product contains peroxide.. and I don't wish for my hair to go green! Many people see the finish effects of a dye and think that is it," says Mandy Baldwin, colour consultant and Trichologist. “But, the effect of the dye on your actual hair pigments, particularly for those lightening their hair isn’t evident to the naked eye. Ammonia strips the pigment from your hair so even with a hair colour remover the original virgin colour may not return as natural pigments have been stripped by the dye itself." Some describe it as cat pee and other say it smells like rotten eggs. This could be because the colour remover is extra-powerful to ensure it works on darker hair dyes. Remarkable! Its in fact remarkable article, I have got much clear idea on the topic of from this paragraph.
