About this deal

All ELITE LCD XT AIOs include pre-applied CORSAIR XTM70 Extreme Performance thermal paste for maximum heat transfer from your high-end processor to the cooler cold plate. CORSAIR’s iCUE H100i RGB PRO XT offers excellent cooling, controlled noise levels, and excellent customization with both lighting and fan speeds easily managed using the iCUE software. When I boot it's fine, I can see the device and fan speeds, a minute later the colours stop changing and I can no longer see up to date RPMs, colour in iCue is correct but not on the unit itself. If I exit iCue and start it again I no longer see the cooler, just my RAM. I currently have the pull fans on a separate fan controller, but that is just a stop gap. I would like to run them with the push fans on the pump fan controller.I see now. So, if all these models have the exact same pump and cooling fluid capacity/flow, well.... you get my point. ;)

wjb3 IF you manage to find a fix let me know. I've recently installed a h100i platinum cooler and 3 days later it still won't be recognised by the iCue software, I've tried everything I can possibly think of and I've come to a dead end. I was thinking of buying a Corsair iCUE H100i RGB Pro XT, 240mm Radiator to reduce the noise on my i5-750. On the contrary, that is exactly what I was trying to do. Your first post was misplaced and really targeting the wrong people. That is fine. I tried to redirect you. Your second post was rude and suggests you don't understand or care. That is not. I would start by looking at this review of the H100x here. Now it really would have been nice if the reviewer had included the H100i Pro, but they did not. However, it does include the H115i Pro which is the slightly larger 280mm size. You can see the temp differences are a fraction of a degree even between different size units. That then suggests the difference between a same size unit (the 240mm H100i Pro) is going to be essentially non-existent. When it comes to cooler tech, we are all very much limited by the conductivity of the materials (CPU and cold plate) and not so much by small cooler differences.

Frankly, I don't think the idea that no one here has both coolers and 6 hours to burn for your pleasure is that difficult a concept to understand. Perhaps you should take a moment of pause. For someone who "already knows all that", you have a lot of questions whether you are aware of it or not. CORSAIR iCUE software brings your system to life with dynamic synchronized RGB lighting, customizable fan speeds to silence fans and advanced system monitoring.

With the iCUE H100i RGB PRO XT CORSAIR has further refined and enhanced what has been a winning formula for nearly a decade now: a well-engineered 240 mm all-in-one liquid CPU cooler providing easy installation and excellent performance. Also the Z model has the same pump and radiator (if it does) but slower fans, so you can expect similar performance until the fans start struggling and produce more noise to cool the radiator"

There is zero reason to drop support for support for a unit that hasn't changed at all...adding LEDs doesn't change how the fans, pump, and sensors work. You can test with another cable as well - it's standard Micro USB so you can use a standard cable and route to rear IO panel. The fan installation can be done in multiple ways, but by default we would recommend having the fans mounted on the bottom of the unit exhausting air up through the radiator towards the outside of the case. If your system is already set up to have sufficient exhaust, then you can experiment with mounting the fans on top of the radiator where they can push cooler air from outside of the case down through the radiator. If you mount the radiator with the fans on the bottom, then it might be easiest to mount the fans to the radiator before installing the radiator into the case, which is what I did for this installation.So. Not only is the new software's installer a horribly UX experience (redundant is redundant). But the new version doesn't even support the older products. Dictate your exact fan speeds with PWM control, plus support for 0 RPM PWM signals that allow fans to stop entirely at low temperatures, eliminating fan noise completely. My Corsair H100i Pro is not being detected in iCUE, I have installed the micro USB header to both USB headers on my Commander Pro and still no detection from iCUE. I even tried to connect the USB 2.0 to the spare connection on my motherboard and still no detection from iCUE. Is my cable faulty or do I need to replace the entire AIO? I've found information on all the previous models with respect to the max current of the controller and they vary from 1A to 4A. I didn't want to just assume it was 2A as the 4 fans together pull just over 1A (the two pull fans are the red RGB variant of the ML120 pro series rated at 0.299A). Let me go grab both coolers (including the one not available for sale in my country) and I’ll go run several hours of temperature and sound testing for an unspecified CPU and fan set.
