About this deal

First, Since you said that you’re Cuban and can’t do this type of spell (a love spell to reunite a couple), I’m trying to wrap my mind around the difference between just doing a love spell on your own, or participating with someone else to do a love spell. In any case, the fact that you participated with this lady means– you did the spell, honey. Second, how do you know that people were doing voodoo to break you up? Most of the time, people involved in this kind of activity are very discreet. And more often than not, when a couple’s relationship is just done and over, it’s just done and over naturally, all on it’s own. Not all relationships are meant to last forever. Suggestion (will) -- A spell that requires more of a deft touch, but which can yield real benefits for the thoughtful.

Still (+1 level): It’s hard to justify this as a feat, given that 1. you’ll also require silent for spells with verbal components, and 2. casting spells in secret doesn’t come up with great regularity. Fog cloud -- Your first battlefield control. Obscure the vision of hostile archers or spell casters. Babble (will) -- Debilitate a single opponent, and potentially fascinate those around them. Useful to distract a group of opponents or divide & conquer them. When someone is being a real stinker– tearing around and disrupting people’s lives, destroying reputations, creating false and misleading impressions, and otherwise making a total ass of themselves, it’s time to put the brakes on. We’re going to do this by literally containing the essence of this person in a sealed jar of water and freezing it solid. What better way to put a halt to someone’s frenetic destructive energy. Another thing, if you find a way to get him to drop this girl, there will be another who will come along… and another…. and another…. etc.

The impulse to categorise the key terms of reference for literary occultism must also have inspired David Keenan. His Empty Aphrodite: An Encyclopedia of Fate, is one of four new pamphlets, all collaborative productions between a writer and visual artist, issued by Rough Trade Books in association with the Cornish Museum of Witchcraft and Magic (MWM). Empty Aphrodite is a useful introduction to the time-travelling aesthetics of witch-lit, which approaches pop culture with a magpie’s eye for the shiny (Lana del Rey) and the kitsch (Carl Sagan), and appropriately enough a magpie’s disregard for the contingent effects of historical context. Once elevated to the level of magical language, cultural references lose their temporal specificity: Blake is no longer a Romantic poet, reacting to the cataclysms of the French Revolution, but rather an eternal mystical spirit whose bardic presence can be invoked as an aid to the lost modern witch. Sometimes the banal (frozen margherita pizza) appears as a fact of life in just the way a piece of bread does in the accounts of witches in the Malleus Maleficarum, reminding the reader that witches too sometimes need a ready meal. Capitalisation lets you know when a word, such as ‘Aftermath’, has become a concept, and it doesn’t seem to be a problem that this typological move places proper nouns (Gary Snyder) on a level with symbolic constructs (Death). Keenan’s entries work best when read as distinct prose poems, rather than in succession, as the charm of mystical ambiguity wears thin after too much repetition. At its best, as in the entry for ‘Forgiveness’, Keenan humanises his concept-subject with such infectious sympathy that a definition becomes a story, the Devil becomes just a scared, lost boy, missing his Dad: Owl : flight & stealth, +3 perception in low light. Prefer a hawk if your campaign features more daylight. The witch’s best spells are predominately drawn from the wizard/sorcerer list. Below are the exceptions, including spells you get earlier than they do.

Writing is a transformative act and writing the occult, which I interpret as writing what’s invisible, or apparently invisible, is inevitably connected to writing my desire as a woman. I hope you’re communicating about this with your guy. It would be helpful to know if he’s supporting you, or you’re supporting him, if he’s living in your home, or you’re living in his. Look at these dynamics and more. If they fall in your favor: Charm person (will) -- With a little creativity this spell can go a long ways. It’s a shame your charisma likely isn’t great.Curse of unexpected death (fort, touch) -- Over the next minutes/level the target takes about 8d6 every other minute. While not useful in combat, the total damage is massive. Charm -- Only consider this after 8th level when you get a 2 step improvement in attitude, and you’ve taken enough of the preferable hexes that it looks better. Extend (+1 level): Spells with a saving throw each round (hold person/monster, charm person/monster) don’t benefit much from this. A longer-term buff such as mage armor does. An extended suffocation is almost certain death if the initial saving throw is missed. These guides are quite good, even if I have a few modest disagreements with each of them. Honestly the only reason to bother with another guide is to cover more of the existing material.
