About this deal

Note: Warner Bros will release an ultimate Middle Earth six-film collectors edition in the summer of 2021. The The Hobbit: The Motion Picture Trilogy 4K Blu-ray delivers truly amazing video and audio in this exceptional Blu-ray release Never again will I watch a movie in HFR after having seen Five Armies in 3D 48fps at the cinema. Worst movie experience ever for me. If people would like such a thing (for home use) then that's fine but not me. I'd like to keep the movie magic instead of having the feeling I'm watching a behind the scenes special. Although part of the film is about a hidden (literally) threat, but, fortunately, it is completely different from "Episode I: The Phantom Menace". "The Hobbit" is lighter than "The Fellowship of the Ring" and its sequels, its characters look younger, but at the same time it will not disappoint the fans of "The Lord ...".

given even more ferocity. Even dramatic scenes seem to benefit from Dolby Atmos as the original score by Howard Shore sounds all the more powerful In general, these Dolby Atmos mixes made for an involving surround sound display. I enjoyed the balance of atmosphere and discrete object placement that sounded fantastic across the board. Part of the reason for this decision seems to be the expectation that most fans purchasing the 4K discs will already own previous releases. Another the extra Atmos height channels. The presence of the entire audio presentation is even more enveloping and rewarding as dramatic fight sequences are not utilize a high-frame-rate (as was seen in select screenings during the original theatrical release). I doubt most fans will find fault with this

Their journey will take them through treacherous lands swarming with Trolls, Goblins, Orcs and deadly Wargs. They must escape the goblin tunnels, where Bilbo meets the creature Gollum who he will unwittingly be forever tied to. Alone with Gollum on the shores of an underground lake, the unassuming Bilbo not only discovers guile and courage that surprise him, he also gains possession of Gollum’s “precious” ring that holds unexpected and useful qualities, tied to the fate of all Middle-Earth. Several key talent members from The Lord of the Rings trilogy reprise their roles, along with exciting new cast members. The Hobbit: The motion Picture Trilogy comes to Ultra HD Blu-ray from Warner Bros. Home Entertainment featuring 2160pHEVC encoded video and lossless Dolby Atmos/TrueHD 7.1 channel sound. Due to the subject matter these aren’t overtly bright films, although there are most definitely bright elements. The terrific cinematography benefits from the enhanced resolution and emboldened contrast bringing the visuals to a rewarding level where depth and dimension abound. The scene in chapter 10 of An Unexpected Journey where the group sits in the moonlight while Balin recounts Thorin’s past looks nearly three dimensional. The same is true of their trek through the dark perils of Mirkwood. I know that a lot of fans don't really like The Hobbit movies - they are long, have a lot of extra stuff and can drag a lot at times. But, they are still good movies and they fit in the LOTR movie world. As with each installment of The Hobbit trilogy I saw The Battle of the five armies in the theater with my daughter Having been left on the cliffhanger that was The Desolation of Smaug I was all in to see where things would shake out to close the story. I thoroughly enjoyed it and reveled in the action, drama and epic nature of the telling. I am not certain that this needed to be a trilogy but, I still found it rewarding. The pacing in the last two installments versus An Unexpected Journey was smoother and, I found myself engrossed in the plot, and the characters both old and new. The building storyline includes snippets of humor, engaging banter and typically entertaining elements of adventure as it steams toward a rewarding final act. Some have complained about the addition of certain plot points such as the Tauriel/Killi subplot but, I had no problem with it. The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies comes together with ties to the events that will transpire in The Lord of the Rings Trilogy.

The Hobbit The Motion Picture Trilogy - 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray

There are both large set pieces and smaller/brief sequences/moments that show off this well-crafted immersive sound design. Everything comes together during the aforementioned encounter with Smaug in Erebor as the Dwarves attempt to lure him into their trap. This engaging sequence is comprised of the perfect blend of atmosphere, discrete object placement and room energizing bass. I think that it complimented the source material, and made for an entertaining and invigorating listening experience. A curious Hobbit, Bilbo Baggins, journeys to the Lonely Mountain with a vigorous group of Dwarves to reclaim a treasure stolen from them by the dragon Smaug. outdoors radiant with terrific color reproduction that is dramatically enhanced by the HDR. This isn't a small upgrade at all: every scene looks Smaug is also rendered with extreme detail in 4k. The incredible effects of the giant, flying reptilian (that speaks English!) are unlike any we’ve seen before on the big screen (although comparative dragons may be found in HBO’s Game of Thrones series and the 2002 film “Reign of Fire.” The first sight of Smaug in the Misty Mountain when he pops up from piles of gold is enough to make you jump out of your own skin — both visually and audibly. However, there were several moments in the Lonely Mountain where the keying looks more like bad Photoshop compositing rather than the work of a multi-million dollar feature film (see the still image with Bilbo and Smaug). Starting with the fun adventure of The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey, continuing in the much-darker The Hobbit: Theand dynamic as it does here. Whether it be the orcs or the goblins, the CGI is vivid, detailed, and immersive. Stunning.

The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey 4K Blu-ray delivers truly amazing video and audio in this exceptional Blu-ray release Not only does the resolution increase impress, the HDR grading is astonishing at every turn. Bright outdoor scenes display more vivid and Audio is presented in English Dolby Atmos, essentially a home version of the same Atmos mix many of you heard in theaters. And as was the case with The Lord of the Rings 4K Atmos mixes, this is a reference quality surround sound experience, one that offers a full hemispheric sonic environment. The soundstage is huge, with plenty of activity in the height channels not just during set pieces sequences but in quiet moments too. Dialogue is crisp and clear, with a full tonal quality, while music and effects exhibit tremendous fidelity. Panning is natural and lively, smooth at all times, and the dynamics are grand indeed, with firm and muscular low end. There’s a moment early in the film, as the Dwarves are bustling around Bag End preparing for supper, when Bilbo starts off complaining in the center of the screen and then scurries off to the left—you can hear him continue complaining into the left surround and rear channels as the sound of activity—multiple conversations, chairs being moved, plates clinking together—continues all around. It’s little moments like that I find most delightful in great film surround sound mixes, and they abound here. Additional audio options on the 4K EXTENDED EDITION disc include 5.1 Dolby Digital in French, Italian, Castilian Spanish, and Czech, with optional subtitles in English for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing, French, Italian for the Deaf, Castilian Spanish, Dutch, Simplified Chinese, Korean, Latin Spanish, Czech, Danish, Finnish, Norwegian, Polish, Swedish, and Thai. I think they should do it, at least as an option on UHD. The film was shot that way, after all, and I know there are fans of the format that wish it took off. As the film progresses, I was continually swept away by the visuals. During an epic sequence with Gandalf the Gray, I could see sweat bubbles in Genres: Adventure ผจญภัย, Family ครอบครัว, Fantasy แฟนตาซี, ดูหนังออนไลน์ HD, หนังภาคต่อ, พากย์ไทย, ซับไทย The teal-orange aesthetic in Andrew Lesnie's cinematography benefits greatly and arguably, offers the more dramatic upgrade in this UHD edition. The Dolby Vision HDR presentation comes with a wider and fuller array of secondary hues throughout, from the striking mix of bubblegum pinks, royal violets and indigo blues of sunsets to the healthy, rosy-peach tones in the faces of the entire cast. Warmer, buttery yellows bathe several interiors scenes like the dinner at Bilbo's or at Rivendell, but other scenes are engulfed in the fiery orange and deep marigold glow of the fire. Gollum also has more of a silver coin tone to him, and the browns in the costumes are impressively varied while reds and greens are more vibrant and richly-saturated, making for a stunning upgrade overall.
