About this deal

One night, after a party at the nightclub, Kitty is followed home by a guy who wouldn’t leave her alone and would not take NO for an answer. During the course of the events, she accidentally pushes him causing his instant death. He doesn’t look like a monster though. But they don’t, do they? Otherwise, they’d never get the opportunity to be monsters.”

I loved the humour of this book and couldn't get enough of this story. I definitely recommend this as a must read.' NetGalley reviewer, I rlly enjoyed the authors writing and felt like it flowed rlly nice but the plot just wasn’t there for me Next we have the plant-based meat of this story: the revenge murders. Again, love the concept. And obviously for a story like this, yeeting of disbelief is required. But the murders were TOO laughably solvable. Homegirl was using Tinder to set up these men and you're telling me police didn't cotton on to that? Ok. At least try to do some basic forensic countermeasures like use a burner phone. Even Finlay Donovan was tighter than this.

She’s the granddaughter of Captain Collins- founder of Collins' Cuts, the reconstructed meat products you see in every freezer and supermarket in the UK. But interestingly she rejects to inherit the bloody family money and staying away from meat products. She still grieves her father who disappeared under false circumstances and she has estranged relationship with her mother who escaped to France, giving her daughter the luxurious London penthouse as farewell gift! This is a great mix of humour albeit the dark kind, there are weird disturbing vibes from the online stalker to say nothing of the threat from some people Kitty and her friends encounter on their nights out. This is a really good debut and an author to watch in the future. Our servers are getting hit pretty hard right now. To continue shopping, enter the characters as they are shown

How to Kill Men was an absolute treat to read, sending out American Psycho and Promising Young Women vibes.' NetGalley reviewer, I'd recommend this book to people who enjoyed the show Dexter and looking for a woman's take on it. It’s now 1983, and home-health aide Kit McDeere arrives at a decaying Hope’s End to care for Lenora after her previous nurse fled in the middle of the night. In her seventies and confined to a wheelchair, Lenora was rendered mute by a series of strokes and can only communicate with Kit by tapping out sentences on an old typewriter. One night, Lenora uses it to make a tantalizing offer—I want to tell you everything.Another unfortunate negativity is that this book is riddled with spelling mistakes, dropped words and incomplete sentences. Screaming for a final proofread. Totally interesting premise where Kitty is lady Dexter ~ only taking out the rapists and creeps of the world. Speaking of creeps ~ she has a stalker she names The Creep and I was totally blindsided about who that ended up being. I still don't even know how they knew everything they knew, so yay for that. The killings were pretty graphic and that didn't bother me at all. I like the title, too.

The side characters. Each and every one of them felt like a caricature or a parody. None of them were properly fledged out. I also disliked how a lot of them were introduced with their name and then their follower count. Yes, I get that the author was probably trying to empathize Kitty's priorities there, but I still found it dumb. the plot was definitely interesting and different. There was a lot more that went on than I thought there was going to be The waste amount of hidden feminism. Sorry, not my thing. At least not in this amount. Not all men are bad. Not all women are good and the other way around. Kitty is an influencer turned serial killer ‘a la Dexter’ and I love her! She’s such a bad ass, with a dark dark sense of humor, a lot of sarcasm in her and a little sweet edge. She’s also very psycho.. If you're a fan of the 'Sweet Pea' series or 'Killing Eve', this book is for you. Engaging, addictive and thought-provoking, this read has it all!' NetGalley reviewer,Don’t get me wrong, it’s bloody and there’s still enough tension, but the writing style combined with the actual story really worked for me. She goes about justifying the crimes she performs and gets away with it, partly because she is a famous influencer and nobody would look at her twice. Though even a half-decent police officer could have found a common denomination as she was present at all events related to the crime. Jesus Christ, this book. I absolutely loved it. It made me uncomfortable and sad and frustrated and angry, but I loved it.' NetGalley reviewer, I raced through this humour-laden murderous romp over the space of a couple of evenings.' NetGalley reviewer, I blame Hollywood for this. There’s still some notion that continually trying to win over a woman who has quite clearly expressed having no interest in you is romantic.”
