About this deal

Did you know? The OB suffix next to the 8926 stands for Original Bezel, which is the first one they came out with. The other version without the suffix comes with a smoother bezel without the coin-edge design. You might be used to a battery-powered (“ quartz movement”) watch, but the fact is that most expensive and luxury watches use an automatic movement.

I recently got thinking about watch design and I don’t think the Pro-diver has changed much since the 90s (feel free to correct me as I could well be wrong on this). Much of the design is based on the Sub but even the bits people don’t like are still there… Any watch that can achieve that has to have the status of a bit of a cult classic, love it or hate it.

Answer: Absolutely! The Invicta Pro Diver (Reference: 8926OB) is powered by a Swiss automatic movement. This self-winding movement eliminates the need for batteries and provides precise timekeeping. It also features a sweeping second hand, which adds a touch of elegance to the watch’s overall aesthetic.

The temptation to buy a cheap watch that actually looks many times pricier is difficult to suppress. Why would you have to pay fortunes if you could have a similar-looking piece for a fraction of the price? Brand Summary

Hey everyone – my name is Tom, and I’m a watch collector and enthusiast. I’m glad you found this blog because there are so many generic content farms out there tailored to make you buy random watches instead of the best choice for your criteria. my Invicta Pro Diver is wonderful. 5 month average of 0.00. worn and used. placed face up when running slow. Reliable as an oak tree. lume lasts over 8 hours

While most Pro Divers come with a yellow rotor, mine arrived in a simple silver-toned version. I don’t mind it, as the yellow version tends to be too flashy and overdone anyway. The Invicta Pro Diver also comes 200m (660ft) water-resistant. I haven’t tried it out in the water yet, but swimming or snorkeling shouldn’t be a problem with this watch. However, taking it deep down for diving might not be the best of decisions. With regard to the 200m water resistance. Virtually NO ONE dives 200m deep. Maybe some guys working on unbderwater pipelines of something. Any dive over 60′ is consedered a “deep dive” and if you dive that deep it requires carefully controlled ascent to avoid “the bends”. The question is why does Rolex charge 10-10X as much for a watch that objectively performs not much better? Besides, if you want a REAL fine watch, you get a Breguet of Patek Philippe, not a freaking drug dealer Rolex. Reply Additionally: If the crystal is getting set uneven, you've likely put a fold or ridge in the crystal gasket. And once this happens, there isn't much help short of starting over with a new crystal gasket. Go slow, adjust along the way, and you should be good. Another problem that caught my eye, although a slight one, is the gap between the three links when bending the bracelet. What causes it is the pinhole in the center link that seems to be too wide. The gap is also the very reason contributing to the rattling noise of the bracelet. Besides the Swiss made quality that is inherent in any Rolex, what else is different when you compare the Submariner to the 8926ob? What is more amazing about the case in these watch models is that it makes the watch easy to read even underwater.
