Konec mě naštval. Vzhledem k tomu, že si hlavní postavy od sebe 450 stran držely odstup a dávaly si na to sakra pozor, čekala jsem, že se do konce knihy možná chytí za ruku, políbí se, řeknou si, jak se mají rády. Místo toho přišly dvě kapitoly explicitního sexu, který se mi sem, vzhledem ke zbytku knihy, vůbec nehodil. Copak už to v dnešní době bez toho nejde? Vyjádřit se jemně, něžně, jen v náznacích....A ne popisovat, jak do "toho" spolu hrdinové "bušili". Jejich vztah se vyvíjel pomalu - od cizích lidí se z nich postupně stali přátelé, kteří by se jeden za druhého porvali. Doslova. you are my best friend, my love, my playmate and my teammate. you’ll have a team with me wherever we are, with whatever we are playing” Sal is one of the most fun, entertaining and refreshing heroines. She’s relatable, interesting, and being in her head is never annoying or boring. My man Kulti was not quite as lovable as Sal in the beginning, but by the end he had me swooning! And a special shout out to Sal’s dad. What a fantastic secondary character! It’s a long book, but I never felt like it was long, slow or boring. It was paced well. And written well. Cuando ya te has leido una libro de la autora y nada que ver, y te preguntas si es que tu lo leiste mal, o fue porque lo leiste en inglés, o leiste otra versión 🤣. Porque joder escucho mucho de Mariana Zapata pero lo siento nada que me convence. Empece Kultí y me estaba aburriendo, así que me vine a leer reseñas para ver si era la unica que le pasaba lo mismo. Concuerdo contigo, dude. Tengo un problema con Mariana zapata y es que no me gusta. Hay otros libros de este tipo que son de romance lento no obstante hay quimica entre los personajes, hay esa chispa que te motiva a leer un capitulo más y más hasta que llega esa escena ya en los ultimos capitulos llena de juegos artificiales y dices valio la pena leerlo. No siento lo mismo cuando leo un libro de esta autora. O dalších deset let později má Sal za sebou pár úspěchů a ani ve snu by ji nenapadlo, že právě ten Kulti, který měl být jejím manželem, nastoupí do týmu a stane se jejím trenérem. Jenže velmi brzy Sal pozná, že není takový, jakého si vysnila.

I really feel I could wax lyrical about this book. I really don't know what it was about it that I loved... as soon as I started it, I did not want to stop. Heads up, its a long book.... but I never lost interest in it.

Bohužel začátek byl až příliš pomalý a to jak Sal furt vzdychala nad Kultim, mi docela lezlo na nervy. Takže mě to trošku odrazovalo od čtení a několikrát jsem uvažovala, že knihu odložím. Nakonec jsem knihu neodložila a pokračovala ve čtení. Jsem za to neskutečně ráda, protože jakmile se Sal ozvala, a obula se do Kutliho, tak to konečně začalo být zajímavé a začalo mě to mnohem víc bavit a čtení jsem si užívala. Najednou jsem do knihy začetla a vůbec jsem knihu nemohla odložit. Byla napínavá, vtipná, čtivá a celou dobu jsem si říkala tak teď už....
