I've been using these headphones for a couple months now and I really like them. Some of my favorite features are that the battery lasts so long, they are wireless charging and sound good. Passive noise cancellation is never a strong point of on-ear headphones, but the Marshall Major IIIs are particularly disappointing in this regard. We tried them in the office and could still easily hear people’s conversations, meaning you’d have to really blast your music if you wanted to drown out the outside world. There’s no active noise cancellation option offered here, which isn’t surprising considering this is seen as more of an entry level pair from Marshall. For active noise cancellation, you’re going to have to stump up the cash for the enjoyable and premium Marshall Mid ANCs. Competition: If you are looking for an on-ear Bluetooth headphone without AAC, these are hard to beat. I also have the Jabra 45's which are also very good, but I prefer these because they fold up, don't slip off my head, have the option for using 3.5 mm cord, and have a slightly more punchy bass mix. The only other options in this category are the JBL 500BT which I understand have great sound and are much cheaper but get alot of complaints for being uncomfortable. Or the Beats solo 3, which I generally feel like are overpriced and not worth it. The cans are connected to the headband via thin metal clips that fold in. I am a little concerned about the durability of this component since it at a joint and it is so thin. I have had these for a couple of months and not had a problem, but I suspect that if I do have a problem, these metal clips are where it will be. Hopefully it's more durable than it looks. I can see now I will be using these very often and for just about any occasion I need headphones for The Major IV is also serviceable for binging Netflix shows and YouTube clips. Clarity was spot-on, making dialogue-heavy content sound crisp and clear while accentuating certain effects; mic static was prominent on certain podcasts. Action sequences also sounded good, with explosions giving off a nice boom effect that wasn’t overbearing on my ears.

Audiophiles probably won’t rate the quality of the bass frequencies, but if you listen to a lot of guitar music, these might be the headphones for you.
