Compared to other amazing wireless earphones I have tried in the past year, they don’t even come close. Something like the Sabbat E12 at half the price costs half as much as the Mifo 07. Earphones from KZ, Creative, and Anker are all on par and cheaper. Finally, you get the amazing Newmine R9-4, which will slaughter them sonically. Extraordinary battery life includes over 8 hours of continuous use time, with an additional 4 full charges with the included aluminium charging case. What I am disappointed with in the original version is the charging. They've always been very touchy when placing in the charging case - you have to mess with them sometimes to get to charge. And even when left in the case after it's been fully charged, the buds don't seem to charge. Since day 1, I've had to charge the case with earbuds in it much more frequently than you should have to if they actually charge while in the case like they are supposed to. The fit and having them stay in my ears is more important than battery life tho because I don't mind having to charge them every week but I am hoping the Gen 2 has made improvements with the charging. I also wish the Gen 2 tactile button model had more color options. The best colors are in the touch version but I don't want that model. During the pairing process, the right earbud will flash red and blue alternately. Once pairing is complete, flashing will cease. The Mifo O5 is designed to automatically unpair from all devices when placed in the charging box. You need only remove either earbud from the box again to re-pair with your preferred devices. The Mifo O5 Plus support Bluetooth 5.0 and, once paired, will connect instantly to your device. Connection is strong, and I could go into another room and put some distance between myself and the device and still have a reasonably strong connection. Both earbuds will automatically power off by when no activity is detected for 5 minutes. IMPORTANT: Before use, remove the protective film under each earbud and then place earbuds into the charging box for at least ten minutes. When charging case battery capacity is between 40-60%, the white LED indicator on the side of the charging case will remain on.
