About this deal

Stumbling out of the carriage, I throw my Kindle into my Mulberry before slinging it over one shoulder and half-running towards the exit. Glancing at my watch, I realise I might have time to grab a coffee before work, so I walk up the escalator, trying not to get my spike heels caught in the metal slats.

Wyatt was solid book boyfriend material, not as caveman Alpha as I usually like, but a guy who definitely saw he had a good thing and took his time getting the H there. I really liked him and his relationship with Prissy made me love him. I was grateful that this author didn't throw in a foolish separation because it pisses me off generally but especially in single parent books when the child is involved, since there's none of that here it bumped my rating even higher Experts haven’t yet identified exactly why nocturnal erections occur. However, current theories suggest that several different factors could play a role in morning erections, including:

Contact

Zhang, Y., et al. (2018). 632. Consecutive nightly recordings are required for the accurate monitoring of nocturnal erections. Some people believe that dreams or a full bladder can cause morning erections. However, what truly causes them is your parasympathetic nervous system. ‌ However, such things get hopelessly derailed when his adolescent mind beholds an exposed chest for the first time. A fateful meeting that would inevitably lead his life in a direction he never even dreamed of! Getting erections during sleep is very normal. You may have up to five erections each night while you sleep. ‌ There are a number of morning problems that we don’t want. Morning breath, bedhead and drowsiness are all categorically not fun. But morning erections? They’re both totally normal and potentially fun. These healthy bodily functions are an important sign that you have good sexual health — a helpful indicator that your heart, blood vessels and nervous system are functioning properly.

Started reading this before the first Interlude (Interlude - A Cheap Drink) was posted and I have to say, I don't regret a single second of those 3 years. I have followed this story as I was part of it and in the end I wished there was a longer epilogue because I didn't want to leave these characters. Endorses rape and abuse of all kinds, treats woman as worse than dirt, endorses mass murder for no reason. The leveling did feel a tad rushed and/or inconsistent at times, but, especially compared to other books I've read, this is hardly done egregiously. The MC also doesn't seem to possess an immediately broken ability that they abuse to become the all powerful main character, I mean their innate abilities are potent but hardly broken. There is a mcguffin ability that looks ripe for eventual abuse, I have played a character with that very same ability once so it certainly has the potential, but the author seems to be careful in it's handling thus far so hopefully that remains in future installments. And the world's mechanics overall seem to be followed and respected rather than abused and left by the wayside, there are a couple points that caused me to raise an eyebrow but it didn't feel abused so much as bent, but proper explanation made it palatable rather than irksome. Having several erections a day is healthy for many men, but there are some situations in which a man may not wish to be erect. Learn more. READ MOREMourning Wood was a fun read. I was a little surprised when I met the characters at a funeral home, but my bad, I didn't have read the blurb before to start the book and I absolutely didn't have understood the title...don't know why but the pieces to solve the puzzle were all there.

Starting with the title and synopsis, you're expecting some vaguely sexytimes kind of story, perhaps like DanMachi or Origin A.R.S. And you would be wrong. What you do find, however, is a clever comedy that looks like it can go places. Not every Prince Charming rides in on a white horse. If that’s what you’re waiting for, you’re likely to miss him altogether. Maybe he’s sitting next to you in church, or bagging your groceries at the Piggly Wiggly. And maybe you just might find him during a drunken hookup on Bourbon Street." The h had her daughter really young so she's afraid of having the H form a bond with the child then break her heart. It takes her a little while but he wears her down.Just finished blitzing through this and I wish there was a second book I could start on, of course if there were I would likely be reading that rather than writing this. One study found that men with hypogonadism, which prevents the sexual organs from fully functioning, experienced an increase in NPT after they had received testosterone therapy. Unfortunately the book then takes a turn for the distasteful with copious sexism and misogyny. Given the title of the book and cover I was expecting, and indeed looking forward to, a good selection of silly puns, juvenile humour and the like, but regretfully the writing strayed beyond lighthearted fun and into gratuitous and creepy - one particular section was so deeply unpleasant I decided I had no choice but to stop listening. I read this book so fast, the story is so easy going and very low on drama, which may be why I didn’t love it like I wanted to. I need some sort of conflict in my romances, not to the point where it’s unnecessary but something which proves their love for one another is real, and it all just seemed too easy in Mourning Wood. I did like the characters, Wyatt was swoony, and Whitney was sassy, and the whole mortician occupation is one I had no clue about, so I felt like I had learnt something by the end of the book. Prissy was hilarious, but she acted a lot older than 6, so it never felt believable because her vocabulary was very advanced. When I first read the blurb of this book i was like sign me up, this was so different. First time reading from this author. Even though the main storyline does take place in a funeral home it still managed to be sexy, funny, adorable. If you can get passed it being about death you should totally give this a shot Wyatt and Whitney's chemistry was off the roof loved seeing the interactions with the little girl Priscilla she was 6 years old going on 30 so sassy and smart. This had blast from the past vibes but i wouldn't call it second chance trope per say.

thank you, that part will pass it and I'm already winning the tournament. now I think I have to find (or repair) the king's statue, hence I don't know what to do. Whitney is a sexy single mom who just happens to work at her family's owned and run funeral parlor. She has a precocious six year old who has no problem speaking her mind, often providing the comic relief. She is Savage as a girl. Whitney's sassy and guards her heart because she wants to protect her daughter and herself. Wyatt’s patience seems to be paying off and Whitney is beginning to see possibilities with him. She just needs to trust her heart and take that leap of faith for both her and Prissy. This is the start to an extremely fun fantasy romp, that grabbed me from the first chapter and at the time of writing this, I have almost finished the last book. Overall, this was such a fun, light-hearted romance, with humour, steam and a little girl who has her mum’s boyfriend wrapped around her finger fast!
