There are two swappable pairs of handles (5 lbs & 10 lbs) and no adder weights. Changing the weight is even faster on this set because you don’t have to take the time to insert or remove the adder weights. You change the selector pin setting and/or swap the handles. These are essentially the standard Pros but kitted with premium materials worth being used in a commercial gym. It comes with a stand included, which has room for both dumbbells as well as the extra pair of handles.The closed handle design was on many different models in the past. Currently, the closed handle design is only seen on the Elite USA dumbbells. It’s characterized by padded wrist supports at the top of the handle (as shown in the photo above). This creates a more restricted handle opening, hence the “closed” handle terminology. Use Elite USA dumbbells to make home fitness gains with an ultra-compact design. Side Rails: Bands on the side rails show the weight of the dumbbell selected with the pin. The pin covers the band/rail that's been selected to easily show what the weight is. If you want a small, lightweight and portable adjustable dumbbell set you can take just about anywhere, with ease.And I think for most people (especially beginners and intermediates), the Sports and Elites generally offer better value for money. If you have both sets of dumbbells, it would be helpful to add a pic of them sitting next to each other in the dimensions section, so show how the overall dimensions compare.

Even though people comment on the weight distribution, it is an advantage if you are looking to tone up your arms.

High Weight Bulkiness

Only the Elite USA and a couple of the Commercial Pro sets (i.e. Commercial Pro 90 and 50) have a straight handle. I’m thinking about buying the u90 stage 1 however I’m not sure how they compare to a fixed dumbbell in terms of size, the elite look more compact, thoughts?
