About this deal

He apparently had a therapist after his parents died. Someone PLEASE GO TAKE THAT GUY'S license, because it obviously didn't work. This one was alright. Alex was meh. Also their TRAUMA? Jeez these characters went through a lot 😭. It was one of the better ones in the series tho Tell me why i wanted to slap this mf so hard at some points? literally his brooding-ness was so frustrating at times i’m like BITCH SHUT UP. but don’t get me wrong i’d let this man have his way with me.

Both Ava and Alex were two characters I enjoyed reading about, and I absolutely loved the dual pov. Ava's character definitely impacted me more compared to Alex's. She's actually a whole sunshine, a photographer who's always remaining optimistic and sure everything will turn out well. She puts others before her, and it took her a while to finally see for herself that she needed and deserved better. I found her character development to be a fresh breath of air, if I'm honest, because I could relate to how she puts others first, or how commonly she fakes her emotions to please others. Not only that, but I found her to be strong for putting herself in a position that would sooner or later trigger her phobia. Her fear of water was something she wanted to conquer, and while Alex was someone who helped her, I was so glad to see how it was something she took into her own hands as well.

going to try and rank them but this is INSANELY difficult because i love all of them so much but anyways,

Twisted Love Series: The Ultimate Guide to Ana Huang’s Twisted Love Series: The Ultimate Guide to Ana Huang’s

I feel like one will either love these books or absolutely hate them. The tropes in these books are so specific that I can see why some people hate them - Brother's Best Friend, Best friend's Brother, Neighbours, Forced Proximity, Grumpy Sunshine, Billionaire, College Romance, You Touch Her You Die, Mafia Romance, Alpha Male. If any of these tropes sound unappealing to you, then this series might not be for you. If you do like these tropes, you will probably love this series. The fact she made videos on her tiktok saying “well it’s my books i don’t care and if you don’t like men degrading women you shouldn’t read it” but WHY ARE YOU WRITING IT?! Twisted Hate was alright. I feel like the story dragged, and I was losing interest easily. However, I love the love of Josh and Jules to show each other. Whereas with Twisted Love and Games where I couldn't put the book down, Twisted Hate at certain points dragged, and I had to put the book down to get the story. I wanted every shadow of his soul and every piece of his beautiful, multilayered heart. I wanted to pour into him every drop of light I had to give until he consumed me whole. Until I was his, and he was mine.” Josh Chen has never met a woman he couldn't charm - except for Jules Ambrose. He proposes a solution that'll get her out of his system once and for all: an enemies-with-benefits arrangement with simple rules. No jealousy. No strings attached. And absolutely no falling in love. Finally, I do think that I might read the sequel since I truly enjoyed the friendship group in here and I do think that this author has a lot of potential. So do I recommend this book? I think this could be the perfect example of a guilty pleasure read in my opinion. Many things needed to be done differently but this wasn’t a horrible read in any way. Christian and Stella: *sigh* my heart cries at how beautiful you both are. I resonated with Stella for some reason. Christian, you are beautiful. i'm excited for the next book, aka Bridget's book tho! i love the whole princess/bodyguard, forbidden trope. plus, her future mans name is RHYS. that name will forever be sacred so this fictional man who has the privilege of being named after that sacred name better live up to my high af standards.

Twisted Lies was alright. The story of Stella and Christian was hard to follow. The ending of this story is not like the other three, and that's how I personally feel. When their animosity explodes into one unforgettable night, he proposes a solution that'll get her out of his system once and for all: an enemies with benefits arrangement with simple rules. Why do you want to know?” she demanded. “It’s not like you’ll go after her. You said—” “Because I love her!” Everyone told me this would be the best one but I didn’t like it for some reason. I wasn’t expecting to like it tbh cuz Stella didn’t seem interesting in the other books. Also Christian was unnecessarily stalker ish i was not into him at all.

i wanted to be nice to this book just because of how unintentionally hilarious and satirical it was, but then he sang and all of that was out the window. Ava screamed again, and my heart tripped. I almost wished there were an intruder so I had something physical to fight.” And as she navigates the intricacies - and treacheries - of her new role, she must also hide her desire for her bodyguard – a man she can't have
I really liked the fact that Ava’s brother did not forgive Alex at the end. Honestly, I thought that was very realistic considering Alex’s betrayal of their friendship and the way he manipulated both Josh and Ava. I also found that aspect quite refresh since it leaves their friendship open for further development later on in the series (in Josh and Jules’ book). i do want to elaborate on the absolute JOY that alex and ava are though đŸ„° apparently miss huang agrees bec they're her favorites.
