Αξίζει στο σημείο αυτό να σημειώσουμε πως η Winnie έχει κατακτήσει το Βρετανικό Κρατικό Βραβείο Παιδικού Βιβλίου στο παρελθόν, πράγμα που αν βρισκόμασταν στην Αμερική μπορεί να μην σήμαινε τίποτα, επειδή όμως μιλάμε για Αγγλία, άρα για πιο αυστηρά - έστω και θεωρητικά- κριτήρια, μάλλον αξίζει αναφοράς και προσοχής.
