The show was delayed by all ITV regions until January 1990 as no slots were available to air the show. This was because Home and Away took over the 5.10pm slot and Emmerdale was now being aired at 6.30pm, before it was moved to 7pm in January 1990. Anglia, Central and TSW were airing repeats from September to December 1989. The game is pretty straightforward and is a quiz game where players have to choose a letter on the game board (see the images below) and answer the question under neath. Once everyone does their team performance rounds and collected their cards, if no one has won the game, rounds are repeated. A new member from each team is selected to compete in the head-to-head challenge which then leads into a team round. This continues until the game is over.

If your team are wizards at guessing and you glide through your three cards with time to spare then you are allowed to steal your opponent’s cards, moving through them in the same way. When the time is up the other team has their turn. All cards guessed correctly remain face-up in front of the team.

For around 18 months in 1991–92, Tyne Tees started airing more local output in the 6.30pm time slot, which resulted in fewer episodes per week. When Tyne Tees and Yorkshire decided to merge their scheduling in January 1993, Tyne Tees increased its episode output to catch up (In November 1992, it was airing four times a week on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays), but had to drop over 50 episodes. BBC Two used adult contestants, instead of sixth formers. This version was broadcast in 1997 and presented by Michael Aspel; the show stayed with the same format. I got to play this over the holidays with family and we had a really good time. I competed against my sister, who is very much like me when it comes to movies. The first time we played was with four people. I felt like that player count can work if the teams are somewhat balanced with movie knowledge.
