About this deal

The cedar and sandalwood accords are incredibly strong, further complimented by zesty bergamot and syrupy, resinous amber. When you smell this fragrance you can almost taste it, it is that intense. Although perfumes are not expensive and exclusive, but it develops nicely on the skin and has good longevity. These fragrances a sorely underestimated by most reviewers here, who sadly have the temerity to bag a product based on price. It's like idiots wearing the logo on the outside. Bad taste. Who gives a rat's bazoo what one paid for what? Does that make one somewhat more valuable? Strange how plebs Yes PLEBS, equate style with money. Money cannot buy style. You cannot judge a book by it's Cover, right? These are different, but there are similarities with a powdery floral bouquet featuring jasmine, over a woody base. The opening is sharper, and the base is more creamy & soapy in Noa. Noa outperforms. This week I've been exploring the so-called 'cheapies', and I must say that from what I've tested, half of these fragrances are worthy of a higher price tag and glitzy advertising.

These are different, but there are similarities, especially in the openings, with powdery, sweet florals. DAH has a more forward powdery quality, while FCUK Her has a more forward jasmine. Roughly equivalent performance. These are different, but there are similarities with a clean & slightly soapy floral bouquet. The opening is a little sharper in Omnia Crystalline. OC outperforms. Though on the first few seconds, it is light and soft; almost floral citrus (the top notes, I think) but after the dry down, it becomes strong; very balmy and musky (I believe it's the base notes).

I was at a perfume store in the mall, just browsing for my next potential target... when I saw it, to my Immaturity's delight [oh common, how many of you read the brand name wrong :] sorry sorry, this is serious business...] I guess you could say that the scent is a little outrageous and daring, somewhat suited to those girls that enjoy the attention, the ones that like to stand out in a crowd. Actually I'd recommend FCUK Connect for Her for clubbing, it suits that crowded and intense atmosphere well.A week ago, I read somewhere that this scent develops beautifully in summer. Wow! What a wonder! Indeed, the sweet smell associates with the lotus flower, but also with raspberries and cherries in tasty syrup (no such fruit in the composition). Besides, I sense something fresh juicy, what goes into an intriguing focus. It's probably bergamot. Overall, FCUK Her embraces the ingenuity and feminism of the modern woman. I think that was what FCUK was trying to create with this perfume and bottle design. A no-fuss smell that any woman (or man!) can wear. This perfume is very clean and is a good perfume to wear day to day. I think this perfume would be good for beginners just starting out wearing perfume or people who like a nice, soapy, flowery smell for everyday/casual wear. This is not a heavy fragrance by any means.

FCUK Connect Her by FCUK has been used by me since early August and now I can say that the smell is sweet and fruity with a hint of amber. After some time, it gets sexy, intriguing and exudes femininity. It is strange, but despite that this is very sweet, that is better in summer than any other time of the year. So, I've decided to give up on this one. The impossibly spray nozzle on this bottle pushed me over the edge faster, but the non existence and sour-wilted scent made this a doomed fragrance from the start. Lily of the valley is on me one of those notes that dominates a scent on my skin, so when I saw lily as a top note in this fragrance I didn't even bother to test it. Dumb, because FCUK has other fragrances that I like. So, when I finally tested it I was surprised at how well balanced and 'controlled' the lily note is. The peony and jasmine have a tight hold on her, with a helping hand from a powdery violet, a feisty rose and, --can it be?-- a spicy cinnamon/sandalwood note that is on the lookout far away but still noticeable. At first, I didn’t really care for it. It wasn’t bad; it was just kind of bland. I recently spritzed some on before bed the other night and realized I really do like this! It’s a very soothing and comforting scent to me. It’s kind of linear, which is fine for how I use it. I’ve been using it before bed and using the body mist to sprinkle a little extra on my bedsheets. The scent literally helps soothe me to sleep! My skin tends to really grab onto and amplify jasmine and violet so that’s what I smell the most. I’ve also layered this with some spicer scents (that—of course— I can’t remember which ones right now) and it’s worked really well! Well, FCUK stands for French Connection United Kingdom. And that's all folks....Don't judge this one by its name (or the other scrabble meaning of it) and try it. It's inexpensive and lovely and they have a few pretty scents to choose from. But the scent. Oh Em Gee. This honestly does not happen very often for me, ESPECIALLY when I'm so unimpressed by the above mentioned aspects. I can safely say that this was love at first whiff. Despite its name, this inoffensive POWDERY FLORAL BOUQUET featuring jasmine, opens with a short but sweet fruity-floral burst with faint touches of lime, that deepens into a floral heart of peony, lily-of-the-valley & iris with velvety, violet, rosy, clean, powdery, fresh & honey-sweet nuances, all resting on a base of cedar-sandalwood & patchouli with soapy & faint spicy nuances from cinnamon. Jasmine is more forward here than the notes would suggest, and over time colonizes the other florals in the heart. Light performance, that improves with dark storage after first sprays.

The bottle is a love or hate design, I don't care for the design, it's rather heavy and has a tiny base to stand on which makes the bottle fall over at the slightest touch. Also, the pump action is a bit rigid, but considering the friendly price and the lovely juice in it I can live with it till my 100ML are gone. On my skin it opens with a messy cedar-bergamot-musk-lily of the valley combo. Messy in the sense that it smelled poorly blended, which is a shame because I think this had a great potential, especially with the sweet lotus peeking through a little bit later on. But then, there comes the amber bomb! Very warm and quite bitter. It mixes with the artificial-smelling cedar and a tiny hint of sweet jasmine. And that's about it for me. After 3 hours there is just a hint of bitter amber which seems to scratch my nose with it's artificial feel.I was given FCUK as a gift because I liked Om by The Gap and it has been discontinued. I was warned about the name but still had to do a double take. If anyone ever asked what I was wearing, I would have to take a moment's pause to make sure I didn't slip up. So, yeah, the name is a negative for me. I don't find it at all amusing though I could see how others might. Just because a fragrance is inexpensive does not mean it's cheap and warrants a negative and immature response. So many sheep here. Baa baa.
