About this deal

In August 2018, we surveyed over 11,000 readers, asking questions about how much time they spend doing some of the things mentioned above. We then compared those responses with the average amount of time it takes to read various portions of Scripture.

Many books on systematic theology use the method of dividing God into two parts: God’s transcendent nature and God’s character. This chart type is used to visualize part-to-whole data; it works well here to show the categories and sub-categories of those parts used in the Bible to describe God. Spiritually: Pushing into deeper relationship with God as I really needed him to be my everything. This journey has been a rollercoaster ride. There were many times of utter exhaustion and total isolation, the sacrifice was huge for an extrovert socialite and when everything in my soul wanted to go out and play or my body wanted to stop I had to choose to continue and the only way that was possible was to strengthen myself in the Lord! This infographic is the bridging of the Old and New Testaments. It spans where the paper changes from the Old Testament’s uncoated, to the New Testament’s coated paper. I know it sounds geeky but it’s been strategically placed so the reader can experience the shift between testaments and between prophecy and fulfillment. Even if it was your first encounter with the Bible, your fingers would feel the change. The infographics range from simple to complex, showing different levels of information. Look out for a key on the more complex ones to help you process that information. Remember that the graphics take the leading role with the text playing only a supportive one.Carlisle Vineyard church has been such a huge part of this project, supporting me in various ways (see pp218). The Infographic Bible is a colorful book full of useful details. However, the type face is so small and the font color so light, it is often hard to read and understand the information included by the author. The book, thus, becomes more of a coffee table book, than a useful reference book. In addition to the two parts of who God is, he’s wholly love whilst being holy and perfect at his core. The night before Gideon storms the Midianite camp, Gideon overhears two Midianites discussing a dream one of them had: a loaf of barley rolls into camp and overturns a tent. Covering themes such as the First Family Tree, the Nature and Character of God to the Sacrificial System and Jesus I AM, this fascinating book, painstakingly gathered and presented in this unique and beautiful way will appeal to both the Christian and non-religious readers alike and provide unexpected insight into (one of) the most important book/s ever written.

The cupbearer dreams of a grape vine with three branches, which he harvests and presses into Pharaoh’s cup. The three branches represent three days between the dream and the cupbearer’s restoration to Pharaoh’s court. 8. The baker’s baskets I wanted the circle endpoints all laid on the X-axis rather than sitting adjacent to each other on the Y-axis, so that the connecting lines create a rainbow… indicating the hope that Jesus brings! Once you open The Infographic Bible, you’ll find it difficult to put it down. As a teacher, you could build entire lessons around the infographics contained in this book! Suppose the Creator of the universe came to you in a dream one night and said, “You know what? Ask me for anything—anything you want. I’ll give it to you.” What would you ask for? What would you say to creatives out there who are dreaming dreams? How can they turn their dreams into new Kingdom realities? It is key to say that each contributor’s view is uniquely linked to their data set and will often differ from other contributor’s, or in fact, my own, view. This was important because I feel different theologies are not something to be feared, but to be embraced and grappled with. A healthy maturity comes from this wrestling. It is certainly true of my own journey. Do you have a spare 5 minutes in your day? Take up and read the book of Jude or maybe even Obadiah. Do you have 15 minutes? Read Ruth or Philippians. Do you have an hour? Immerse yourself in Nehemiah or Romans. I’ve had so many powerful moments with him, things I knew in my head but when I see the results from the data being analysed there was a deeper and profound revelation. One of those moments was seeing the totals of Jesus declaring himself being equally Son of God and Son of Man! WOW! Now it’s Daniel’s turn to have dreams. In this dream, Daniel sees a lion, a bear, a leopard, and another strange, ten-horned beast come out of the sea. The Ancient of Days judges the beasts, and the Son of Man is given dominion over all the earth. The four beasts represent human empires. 16–20. Dreams surrounding Jesus’ birth Scripture excerpts from the New Revised Standard Version, the New King James Version, and the Good News Translation
