To keep the price tag low, Shark's vacuums are not as sleek and stylish as Dyson’s, and they're often heavier, too. Speaking of the LED display, it is very easy to read and not complicated at all. It tells you the exact battery percentage in large, bold numbers and the suction power you have opted for the vacuum to use. I like the handle, it's ergonomically comfortable for my arthritic hands. Overall the vacuum moves smoothly and just feels 'right' for me. On test, we found it excelled when cleaning hard floors, thanks to the inclusion of a laser that highlights microscopic dust invisible to the human eye. We were impressed that when used on Auto mode, the vacuum conserves the battery by adjusting the suction power to suit the floor type and the amount of dust automatically. There's also a handy LCD screen that displays the remaining runtime, too.

I did notice that should you need to replace the battery down the road, the price is not exorbitant and is still less expensive overall than the price of a similar worthless Shark (yes, I'm bitter) and most definitely a Dyson.
