MY NEW DOG SHOW AND RACEDAY LIST FOR 2023. ( I WILL KEEP ADDING TO THIS LIST AS THE SHOWS COME IN ) On Sunday 8th December we are hosting our third Sighthound Social Club Santa Paws Walk at Yorkshire Sculpture Park. Last year, we had 92 hounds in attendance, all dressed up in their Christmas finery. Christmas Shoebox Appeal THE MUSKERRY FOXHOUNDS TERRIER / LURCHER AND HOUND SHOW, WILL BE HOLDING THEIR ANNUAL SHOW AT LOUGHANE EAST, BLARNEY, CO CORK T23 TF88. ( FULL DETAILS LATER ) I've been asked to share this information with you all. Hopefully, we'll be able to go ahead with a few more shows this coming year (fingers crossed!) and this gives us something to look forward to :

The town of Carlow was founded by the Normans in 1207, making it one of the oldest counties in Ireland. Nestled in the middle of this beautiful ancient County lies the traditionally rural village of Ballinabrannagh with its very convenient proximity to the M9 motorway. This was the venue for The Mc Grath Lurcher Racing Club Dog Show and Race Day Sunday 27TH August 23. The Diwali Festival in India is a beautiful celebration of lights and colors. Visitors can enjoy fireworks, traditional food, and other festivities. December Last year’s response to our Christmas Shoebox Appeal was amazing and we were overwhelmed by your generosity with over 200 shoeboxes, not to mention the dog food, beds, duvets and collars. As a result, we were able to give a shoebox to each of the hounds in our chosen charities and rescues. What can I put in the shoebox?Along with your helpers Conor Creagh and Caitlin Hughes you have put the Tally Ho Dog Show and Race Day firmly up there on the map with the Great and the Good.

A beautiful 2024 Lurcher Calendar
As we arrived at the venue the atmosphere was electric. Cars and trailers rolled up with dogs in tow and very soon the field was filled to capacity. With the sun shinning down in abundance, show organiser Peter Morgan was scurrying around making sure everything was in place, and by noon it was evident once again the Tally Ho dog show was in full swing. The Edinburgh Festival Fringe in Scotland is the world’s largest arts festival, featuring thousands of performances across various genres. Visitors can enjoy theater, comedy, music, and other shows. September The Day of the Dead Festival in Mexico is a colorful and meaningful celebration of life and death. Visitors can enjoy traditional food and drinks, music, and elaborate altars and decorations. November

The Glastonbury Festival in the UK is a legendary music festival that attracts thousands of music lovers from around the world. Visitors can enjoy live music, art installations, and other performances. July February is the month of love, and the Venice Carnival in Italy is the perfect place to celebrate it. This festival is famous for its elaborate masks and costumes, and visitors can enjoy music, dancing, and other festivities. March As the sun broke through the clouds early last Sunday morning, with our dogs fed and watered, we headed off to the city of the 7 Towers, Ballymena and the venue for the Tally Ho Dog Show and Race day. And what a memorable day that was.KEEP ER LIT DOG SHOW AND RACEDAY IN AID OF NI CHILDREN TO LAPLAND TRUST AT BALLEE PLAYING FIELDS , BALLYMENA, Co ANTRIM. The Sighthound Social Club are having their annual Christmas walk on 8th December at the Yorkshire Sculpture Park (see flyer) and are also organising a shoebox appeal with Lurcher Link being one of the beneficiaries :D The Running of the Bulls in Pamplona, Spain, is a thrilling and dangerous event that takes place every year. Visitors can watch brave (or crazy) participants run through the streets while being chased by angry bulls. August
