XD Early on in the series, we immediately know that it’s going to be a slow start that develops into its own thing once we get a primary objective. Though, the story makes sudden twists and turns that you don’t really expect. I wasn’t able to guess that we’d get a one-night stand chapter only a little bit after getting introduced to the wholesome friendship of Charlene and Yileyna.The characters are very well developed. This applies to some more than others, though it is generally applicable. I especially loved Theon’s character, everything he does is so mysterious and each action of his has you questioning why it was done and who he really is. As you read more, you’ll find yourself beyond interested in his character.

My Alpha’s Betrayal portrays itself as a werewolf-oriented story, though it never really shows. The concepts of a werewolf world apply, though they’re never executed or fleshed out in the beginning and middle chapters. The author really wants to take their time with developing the characters… and giving us erotic scenes. Thank you for reading this book, and once again, I appreciate all the love, support, and kind words that everyone has given me. For the patience and trust you had in me with this story. This has been the darkest story I have written, and Theon was a character who was not meant to be just a hero. He had committed sins, some of which will forever remain. Yileyna, our innocent yet naughty Yileyna, where do I start? She was a young girl who, in a way, was infatuated with Theon, unable to see anything more than the love she felt for him. They both grew, both changed for the better, and only then were they able to truly be with one another. I am happy that I was able to pen this book the way I had envisioned it.The pain in my body was suffocating, and no matter how strong I tried to remain, I couldn’t keep the pain from my voice. “Nothing more than Heaven and Hell.” His voice was equally cold, destroying the last of my resolve. Then it’s time you were taught a lesson. Theon.” Theoden commanded dangerously, I glared up at both him and Theon. “You’re right.” Theon said coldly, his eyes boring into mine and crushing my heart in the process. It was strange how everyone looked to me for guidance, as if they had forgotten what I had done in the past. Was it just me who couldn‘t forgive myself? Would he go to hell? Was it enough for him? Was Mom looking down on us? Did she know all he had done? Did she think I deserve forgiveness? While I did feel lost a few chapters in, not fully being aware of where the author was trying to go, I had fun reading all of the erotic chapters and was pleasantly surprised when the story started developing itself as well. It’s a fun little roller-coaster that you start to appreciate because of its flaws.
