About this deal

The book is all about opening your mind and heart to the infinite signs in the universe that are sent to us by our “Team of Light”, or those who are deceased that look after us, our guardian angels if you will. Our Team of Light is always on the other side sending us messages and signs, trying to get us to open our minds.

Please understand I am not a skeptic, I believe that there are signs in our universe, but this book does nothing to further tuning into those signs or learning about them outside of a "god-based" belief system. All perspectives are from a Christian view-point and that is not how the book presents itself. There's an entire chapter that discusses a woman being talked out of her abortion by her dead father because she "chose love", a chapter on prayer, and consistent references to Jesus. If this book is meant to be Christian literature then please label it as such. I borrowed a copy of this book from the library. All opinions are my own, and I was not compensated for this review. The only chapter worth reading is 30...(why did I really suffer through 29 to get there)...which discusses the importance of art, travel, and basic self-care routines. Once the author asked for an orange to be put in her path as a sign, and came across a decoration with thousands of oranges. When we ask for a specific sign we may be sent it dozens of times in various creative ways. This stirring guide . . . asserts that anyone can learn to understand messages that are sent from the ‘Other Side.’ . . . For readers struggling with loss who believe it’s possible to communicate with the deceased, this book will console and empower them to look beyond their suffering.” — Publishers Weekly

Maybe it’s just not that easy to let go of the hope that you can still talk to the people you love once they’re gone. Book Genre: Adult, Fantasy, Metaphysics, Nonfiction, Occult, Paranormal, Philosophy, Self Help, Spirituality, Witchcraft We are given dozens of true life examples of people constantly receiving signs from the other side. The opening paragraph says that is no accident that this book came to me, I thought that was a strong message. Anyway, the author goes on to tell stories of people receiving signs from their loved ones when they asked. I wished fervently that my mom would send me a dragonfly again because I hadn’t seen one from her in a long time. It’s a lovely concept, if you don’t think too critically about it: the existence of the “other side”, shrouded in love and light. A reality where death isn’t real and we get to be with our loved ones again. Not just our loved ones, either, apparently. Our pets and our unborn babies, too, according to Laura Lynne! It tells us how we can ask our deceased loved ones to give us signs from the other side to let us know they’re okay. And she is partially right. But the book got clouded by this other stuff, by her and not her message. Also it just got plain ole repetitive. Do I need 1000 (exaggeration) stories of the same thing to get ur point? A modern guide to connecting with the other side, Signs is full of stories of hope. It teaches us how to recognise and interpret the life-changing messages from loved ones and spirit guides, by a renowned psychic medium. This book was just what I needed. So if you are wanting to open your mind to the possibilities of messages from the other side, read this book. It was a life changing read for me, and I am glad I took the chance.
