I don’t want my last post to discourage anyone from purchasing vinyl for fear that their system won’t be good enough for it. I was originally not a big fan of this album but the vinyl made me like the musical elements a lot more. The noise floor is a little higher than usual on this one, kind of like a slight continuous crackle with a few pops here and there, but it’s totally listenable and the music drowns it out most of the time. After deactivating his Instagram account in early 2019, he finally activated it again on November 20, 2019.

Why were jazz and blues albums recorded so much better, even then, than pop and rock albums of the 50s, 60s and 70s?Yes, there is some noise at the start and end of the records and the quiet parts, but when the music's cranked you can't hear it. With all the excellent bonus tracks included, you pretty much have an Elmore James greatest hits record. i absolutely love the gold and red splatter and i think its very fitting for the album’s aesthetics. After Hours is a 1985 movie picture directed by one of the most influential directors of our generation, and Abel’s idol, Martin Scorsese.

Upon opening I find that not only do I have 2 copies of disc 2 and no disc 1 but they are both horribly warped. The album contains themes surrounding loneliness, heartbreak, withdrawal, infidelity, and recklessness. blaming the pressing first ultimately has a negative affect on the way records are mastered and pressed. United/Superior records, US-7716, but "ELMORE JAMES - THE BLUES IN MY HEART / THE RHYTHM IN MY SOUL" also appears in very small letters along the right edge of the front cover.I recently got the gold target splatter version and I noticed that the spine on that said simply Weeknd after hours whereas my Black standard version says Deluxe but I don’t get why it’s deluxe? the only problem this record has is that there is some kind of glue on the grooves on Blinding Lights? In response to a pm I got on my last post (posting this here so more people have the opportunity to see it). If you have any concerns that this European pressing is an MP3 committed to vinyl, well, you can put those to rest. The separation between the instrumentation is spacious and the vocals absolutely erupt from the mix. So, I have to say that I started my collection with this album and with the purchase of my amazing Projetc Debut III turntable.Sabrina Claudio will open all of the concerts, alongside Don Toliver in North America and Black Atlass in Europe. The pressing really isn’t the best, which is sad Bc this album if pressed at good quality would sound even more magical.
