About this deal

It's an unorthodox type of horror game, but Bendy and the Ink Machine utilizes two opposite genres that complement each other to create a solid title. As we progress, we learn sad truths behind the animation team that led to the spiraling downfall of innocent people. Chapters 2-4, which were previously available as downloadable content, became free, while the game became paid. Bendy and the Ink Machine is an easy recommend to anyone looking for a clever and visually unique little puzzler with some pretty dang fun chase sequences and combat scenarios liberally sprinkled throughout. Bendy and the Ink Machine is a first-person horror game that sees the player exploring the damned studio, solving puzzles, finding clues, and avoiding dangerous horrors.

With our super crazy timeline, we just can't get the winners into this version of the game because of content lock.

After using a flashlight to make their way through a dark area, they come across the studio's Toy Department and find a back room full of merchandise for Alice Angel, the studio's lead female. Henry tries to escape, but when he reaches the door, the floor under him gives way and he falls into the studio's lower levels. Meeting Alice, who is torturing one of the monsters, Henry is instructed to complete missions from her in exchange for being allowed to escape the studio. Bendy and the Ink Machine is a survival horror game that features a mixture of puzzle-solving, environment exploration, and combat to aid Henry on his journey through the darkened halls of Joey Drew Studios.

I went in expecting a cynical attempt to chase the likes of Five Nights at Freddy’s, fully prepared to sit through a few hours of YouTube-friendly, ironic jump scares.

While quite rough around the edges, Bendy and the Ink Machine is a memorable horror romp fueled by distinct characters, imaginative mythology, and respect for animation as both a brilliant art form and space where creative people are vulnerable to emotional and physical abuse from those higher up on the capital food chain. After fulfilling her needs, she sends Henry to the elevator where he can leave, but forces the elevator to fall after discovering Boris, whom she wants to harvest as he is the most perfect Boris. Allison Pendle (voiced by Lauren Synger) is the second voice actress for Alice Angel, replacing Susie Campbell. Henry manages to escape the prison on his own after discovering a secret room with a weapon behind the wall, thanks to the hidden messages.

In the sequel game, Bendy and the Dark Revival, he gains an ability to speak and a connection to the second protagonist Audrey.Bendy®, Bendy and the Ink Machine®, Boris and the Dark Survival™, Bendy and the Dark Revival®, The Bendy characters, images and logos are trademarks of Joey Drew Studios Inc. He activates the four power switches, while in the process sneaking past the Butcher Gang by throwing empty cans, defeating an ink corrupted Bertrum, who has merged himself with an octopus ride, and escaping from the Projectionist, who is decapitated by Bendy and takes his body away. A lot of what you get out of Bendy comes from what you do with the information you find, and leaving so much up to player interpretation is important for getting that extra metatextual mileage you want from a horror work with its own, unique mythology. But, it sometimes tries anyway, and these moments often involve the player strafing around monsters and hammering the attack button until the bad thing goes away. At the final chapter, players unlock the Seeing Tool, which is a device used to view secret hidden messages that would be invisible without it.
