About this deal

It is part of my hospital bag and I have recommended it to a lot of my mum friends who are expecting already! This is my second and i remember it did hurt to pee the first few days but try and stay hydrated and the more diluted your pee is the less it stings. The concept is excellent, as someone who has previously given birth I know all too well how sore the area can get after birth so this is really useful for those moments!

Lavender is an antiseptic, anti-bacterial, and anti-fungal ingredient which also promotes healing, improves the formation of scar tissue, and also includes pain relieving properties (what an amazing ingredient! It’s been a very good experience can’t say anything negative really about the product it’s helped keep me comfortable during pregnancy. To feel the benefits of the above key ingredients simply mist Bottoms Up over the perineal area whenever you are experiencing pain and discomfort. This Internet site provides information of a general nature and is designed for educational purposes only.It came with granola bars rather than granola, but she actually prefered it as she was able to eat with one hand! She said it helped sooth those first wee's after birth and she also sprayed it over her maternity pads before she put them on as the ingredients (i know theres witchhazel) help you heal better. I’m really looking forward to using this after birth, as it can be so sore to even do simple things like sitting down or moving around!

Such a treat to be given this box shortly after my daughter was born to remind me to look after myself too. We have achieved the above within our Bottoms Up through using the key ingredients Lavender, Witch Hazel, Cucumber and Arnica. I purchased this box for my sister just before she gave birth to twins and she was thrilled with it! Alternatively, you can also spray Bottoms Up onto a maternity pad and then place the damp pad over your perineal area. I would say I found immediate relief with the cooling cucumber and then longer lasting effects with the calming lavender.I had a episiotomy for my first with 2nd degree tear, I found it more comfortable for the first week peeing in the shower and using a jug of warm water to pour over then pat dry.

The design is fab, I did have a slight issue when turning the bottle upside down to hit the areas I needed but it was fairly simple and easy to use none the less. For the ingredients used and the amount you get, I think it’s great value for money, especially as you don’t need much for it to work it’s magic! I also love how you can customise the products to suit the mum-to-be and I found the company a pleasure to deal with and so professional. They even delivered it to Ireland so I was delighted to have such a personalised and special gift for my sister.Bottoms Up can be used as soon as required following birth and as often as you feel necessary, especially after a bath or toilet use.
