It is a small nation with a rich and proud history, but it has not produced the same kind of laundry list of athletic greats as England and other countries in the region. Something I didn't like about this book was when Conor gave up after he lost for the first time and went back to his boring job. The book covers everything in an adequate and readable manner; I read it quickly and wasn't at any point bored. A concise biography with interesting details which occurred during Notorious' career which as a in-between casual and die-hard MMA fan which I didn't know about. Young people start filling up the tables when the families go home and I admit, it’s hard not to loosen up when you’re onto dessert and Dua Lipa starts blasting.

Maybe not in the eyes of the reporter telling the story or their newsroom colleagues, but certainly from an accountants’ perspective. While it's obvious that Conor has a long career ahead of him with (I'm sure) many more mind-blowing accomplishments to add to his resume, it may be just a bit early for a fully fledged biography.
Like Vegas itself, it leaves you with so many emotions but all in very different, confusing, and contrasting ways. but its fthe writing about the beauty, strategies and dilemmas of striking that pushes this book into the 5 star territory.
