I used my normal ritual in running it through the Spin Clean then the ultrasonic cleaner and then a zap from the zero stat gun and it was a nice listen. Quite shameful really, but these 'signed' promotions are far too tempting for some artists not to get involved with. Remastered for the "modern" tastes : compressed (but far less than the cd, thanks God), thin and bright. Placed in poly liners 3 years ago, vac cleaned tonight with cleaning solution, rinsed with distilled water, vaccumed that off.

I suppose it can be a bit nostalgic because the songs sound like they did when I first heard them through the tinny speakers in my parent's 1964 Chrysler Newport station wagon. Due to inventory and accounting purposes, we do not exchange items received for different items than originally purchased. It’s a shame, because these are great songs… but nearly impossible to listen to with this much noise.

So the 'signed' prints that came with some purchases of the recent EU picture disc and coloured vinyl are actually autopen. A new Elton Johngreatest hits collection Diamonds will be issued in November, with a limited box set also available.

The track listing, personally selected by Elton, reflects the setlist with highlights from Diamonds, the Ultimate Greatest Hits Collection. Surface noise throughout the two records, and several hissings and pops here and there, unacceptable for a brand new record. It was released in a single disc version, a 2-CD version, a 3-CD deluxe box set, and a 2-LP vinyl version. Although their collaboration began in 1967, the oldest hit in the album is " Your Song", from John's eponymous 1970 album.Diamonds is a greatest hits album by English musician Elton John spanning his hits from 1970 to 2016.
