About this deal

From the surface, it doesn't seem complex in the slightest, but what I found is that it is dark and sweet in a light and refreshing way, something I haven't ever experienced in any of my perfumes before. I do think it is a very feminine, sugary scent that may be too immature/sickly for people aged older than 16. It's like nostalgia in a bottle: imagine a 14 year old boy smelling his crush's abandoned jean jacket after a football game. After you’ve had your laughs, you agree on a time for her to pick you up the following day to go tanning.

I see a lot of people comparing this to midnight fantasy but I personally think they smell very different. Many people say it smells like shampoo, but Midnight Fantasy has been released since 2006, so it must be true that today's shampoo bottles are produced according to its scent. I know there's not really an age limit on fragrance, but I would say this is a pretty appropriate party/night out fragrance for someone in their mid to late teens. It's not the most sophisticated perfume out there, but this is such a distinctive scent that I crave occassionally and it's a compliment getter too.Based on the notes, this should have so much potential - but to me it smells like an airy fruity shampoo, with the longevity of max 30 minutes, and it’s a skin scent. It’s recognised as one of the sweetest perfumes on the market, with a strong vanilla and chocolate cupcake scent, complimented by a fruity kiwi. At first spray I can smell the original Midnight Fantasy (but a little bit lighter), due to the plum and sour cherry. I'm aware of Free Britney and I honestly don't blame the lady for letting everything crash and burn because the leeches have been around her for far too long.

Glitter Fantasy is the first bottle to be totally sparkly and not have the diamonds scattered around the bottle. I don't know if I want to wear cotton candy all the time because it is so sweet, but when you want to smell like cotton candy it's sugary. The sandalwood with the sugar smell stale on me as usual with cheap perfume, that goes away after 20 mins though. I sprayed it in the morning for school, after a whole day, after a lot of movements, I woke up next morning (already half-showered) I could still smell it when I showered the morning. When it's sat on my skin for hours, I can still smell all of the sweetness and tart cherry or raspberry mixed with a dash of vanilla and musk. I can’t say I smelled any florals yet, the vanilla was prominent in the dry down making it smooth and creamy. Weird how everyone thinks that the classic fantasy was reformulated but I’ve never heard anything about this one being changed even though the same thing happened with the bottle.

That's not to say it smells bad or very cheap; it's still fresh and pretty with a bit more complexity than the original Fantasy. HOWEVER, Festive Fantasy has A LOT more vanilla and has more berry notes than it does plum notes whereas with Midnight Fantasy is the other way around, it has more plum notes than it does berry notes. I am very much in the "Dark Kiss" camp -- it's one of my favorite BABW scents, sadly long discontinued, and they are absolutely very similar; though MF has all the sillage and long-lasting nature! Original Fantasy smells fruity in a unique way, this has that bland Escada-fruit-cocktail kind of fruitiness to it.It's fruity and sweet, which is not my thing - but the strong, tart plum note makes it green and refreshing and it just seems to work.

I remember powdered bubble bath, when I was very young, that smelled like baby-oilish, cherry vanilla chewing gum -and I'm sure it must have been Mr. These are combinations of a product produced by a perfume house and sold under a well-known person’s name – celebrity marketing – to increase exposure and sales. This is not a scent I would recommend you to wear when yous are going to sweat and for that reason you will tend to reach for this on slightly cooler weather or summer nights. You get a pop of dewberry and an underlying current of sour cherry mixed in with a sugary sweet dry down. The main note is brown sugar which is much warmer than the white sugary notes used in some of her previous fragrances.Turns into a skin scent within an hour for me, until there's nothing but a hint of spun sugar and warm, musky sandalwood on my wrists. Every single time I wear this it always adorns comments and compliments even when I am least expecting it.
