The traction pins hooked up beautifully with our shoes, and even on the chunkiest and choppiest of downhills, our feet stayed in place. Taking them apart and properly lubricating the bushings on occasion definitely improves performance.Paired with the OneUp’s long, shin eating pins, I felt as if I was almost on stilts above the middle of the platform, with the most central pin preventing my foot from sinking in, and the shallow tread not swallowing the pins enough. Hate DU bushings as every pedal I've seen doesn't spin smooth and always seems to have either drag or play. The pedals performed flawlessly and just seemed to get better with time as they spun more freely and the edges were smoothed out. My feet were pivoting around the central pins and only contacting either the front or rear row of pins at one time. These flats really helped my game in terms of body positioning, I've been able to micro adjust my foot/body positioning depending on the corner, even with the studs locking my feet in.
