It's cheesy as piss but still takes itself seriously, the tracks have very repetitive structures (both within the song itself and across the album's entire track list) and yet they still feel the need to drag them out to five minutes and the lyrics are still vapid and repetitive.I don't want to offend anyone, but if I had to choose between "Appetite for destruction" and "Sonic Temple" I would always choose the latter. The Cults best album and one of my favorite all time LPs, together with GNRs Appetite for Destruction they are both peak 80s rock before grunge arrived and took over. The album catapulted The Cult into superstar status and remains their most commercially successful release. Thirdly, the amount of dust and dirt on the surface is more than I have ever seen on any new pressing, and consequently, results in lots of surface noise.
