The illustrations of the forest are drawn in darker tones to indicate the danger but the forest creatures and dragon are drawn child friendly. David Melling’s delightful series of Knightly Tales is brought to life with all the charm and humour of the original stories, plus some new songs and, of course, plenty of kisses bouncing around. The illustrations are essential to the comedy and bring the story to life with vivid depictions of the characters' antics. The characters of this story are fairly one-dimensional, but the story itself is what carries all the laughs and adventure that make it so entertaining.
