Tyreese, Andrea, Billy Greene and Glenn head into the gym to clear it of all the zombies; however, after forming a plan to stay as a group and kill the zombies by moving out making sure no zombies get past them, Tyreese attacks the zombies suicidally and the rest are forced to leave him inside as he is swarmed.Although the cast is diverse and often changing (including, of course, a great number of zombies), at the heart of every tale is Rick Grimes: former police officer, husband, father, and de facto leader of a ragtag band of survivors looking to make a future forthemselves in a world that no longer has one. The next day, while burning their bodies, Rick is disconcerted by Tyreese because he showed no emotion whatsoever and smiling at him. A good thing about The Walking Dead, if you want to enjoy it in comic books along with TV series is that both storylines are different, sure there will be connecting points here and there, and you will meet the same names of characters (in some cases) but they aren’t the same persons, and trust me, while this is my first compendium in the comic book’s storyline, I have been watching the TV series since its own beginning, and both stories are different, both truly great, but different, so don’t afraid of spoilers in any of both formats, since the events are developed quite different. Finally seeing that his son will never be normal again, Hershel takes Maggie's gun and shoots his three children to prevent reanimation. Kirkman penned a goodbye letter at the end of the final issue and has stated that the whole comic is full of surprise deaths, the end of the comic story is the most significant surprise death of them all.

For the first chapter, the dialogue is relatively believable, with at times a few instances where characters seemed to launch themselves into topics without being prompted or spoke in an odd manner, just to convey some backstory or narrative foreshadowing. OK, I could be wrong, never having read any zombie comix ( comix is the wrong word, but graphic novel? Want to kill some folks without any real repercussion (you know, other than waving goodbye to the simple hassles of life before the dead claimed the apex-predator role)? These comix are less about zombies than they are about interpersonal dynamics among individuals under an inconceivable amount of stress with all familiar support and comfort erased. It is so easy to let ambient convention sink so deep into your skin that you are utterly of the mass illusion that the way things are is natural, inevitable, given, reality.Before they can decide, Rick emerges from the prison with a bullet wound in his abdomen and collapses. In the morning, Rick and Lori are discussing how Carl is handling their situation and also about how they are going to give the baby a happy life.
