Using Rayne's dodge and evasive maneuverers are critical to a successful playthrough and one with far fewer deaths.

Because he turns into 3 bats each time, if you're quick, you can actually kill him in just one turn if you manage to shoot all 3 bats. The Wilds, which run along the coast of Raddith, are a place of mystery and magic and legend, home to beings like marsh horses and Dancing Stars and, most importantly, Little Brothers, which are kind of like spiders, except not really. Feed on 1 Sword-wielder from the start for Health, and Feed on the normal enemy only for Rage (or vice versa). Once the Shadow Legion ninja is dead, Feed on the remaining Sword-wielder for either Rage or Health, whichever you need more. I genuinely think Hardinge is one of the best fantasy authors I've read when it comes to giving her characters (and honestly, entire worlds) realistic flaws and acknowledging and working through them, and Unraveller is no exception.
