About this deal

On 30 May 2018, the IPCC reported that it had started a second investigation into the circumstance behind the murder of Nicholas Churton. As a result of the second investigation a further police sergeant was referred to North Wales Police for consideration of a misconduct hearing. The CPS proved that Jones was not acting in self-defence, as he had claimed, and this conviction brings him to justice. I’ve since been on patrol with North Wales Police in Snowdonia and discovered that, from a procedural point of view, there really isn’t that much difference.

You will be greatly missed by so many, you had the biggest smile and sense of humour; all the love in the world from Mum , Dad, Lee, Johnathan, Caitlin, Nanna, Aunty and everyone who knew you. March 2017 – Arrested for possession of a bladed article in a public place, and released on police bail. The fatal act being published on social media is shocking and must have been horrific for those who witnessed what had happened. It was published in January this year and, incredibly, six more books in the series have since followed, each revelling in their North Wales settings, from the Dee Valley to Harlech.

a b c d e f g "Learning and disciplinary proceedings for North Wales Police following investigation into contact with Nicholas Churton". At the start of his summing up of the facts of the trial, Mr Justice Stephen Eyre told the Jury there was no dispute that the defendant had killed Kyle Walley by stabbing him to the chest - but that there were "crucial disagreements" regarding the events immediately leading up to the fatal injury and the defendant's intention that they would have to consider. A police sergeant and acting police inspector were dealt with for unsatisfactory supervision of their staff. The defendant was crying and the officer noticed that the 19-year-old had a "large laceration" on his hand. I would urge anyone who knows of a friend or someone in their community who carries a knife to please contact independent crime-fighting charity Crimestoppers anonymously and report it.

And to say Kyle lost his temper with Mark Jones is not to blacken his name at all - it's simply to describe what can happen between two teenage men, in the heat of the moment.
