About this deal

An adjustable headrest offers an amazing 14 positions and removable inserts ensures the best fit for your growing child no matter their height. All the covers are made from luxurious materials which can be removed easily for cleaning at 30°C. The Excalibur car seat can be securely fitted into your vehicle by using Isofix connection points, top-tether and/or by the adult 3 point seat belt making it compatible with a number of vehicles. Fitting the Excalibur car seat is as easy as 123, using simple Isofix connection points with top-tether and/or by the vehicles 3 point seat belt. This means the Excalibur is compatible with most makes and models of cars. I’ve got to start this review with a slightly embarrassing confession. When asked to review the Cozy N Safe Excalibur Group 1/2/3 car seat, I was fairly confident that nothing could compare to the car seat I was already using. I highly recommend it to parents who are looking for a long-lasting, comfortable and safe car seat for their children.

If your child has outgrown their baby seat by height but is not yet ready to sit forward facing, or you don’t want them to, the option of a combination 0+1 car seat will give you a full-size Group 1 car seat that is rear-facing until 18kg. What do I do if the instructions for my child car seat are missing?

I don’t think I’d change anything about it. Except maybe the design. It would be good if it came in a range of bright colours and patterns but that’s just my preference. My husband also loves how easy this seat is to install. It literally just clips into place and the top tether, which is a doddle to secure, makes it feel particularly sturdy and robust. The Cozy N Safe Graphite Excalibur Car Seat features an integral 5 point harness which can be used up to 25kg (a huge 7kg more than most other car seats). The Excalibur car seat is the ultimate way for your little one to travel in style without compromising on comfort, featuring a durable shell, added side impact protection, four-position recline and deep padding. We are using this car seat with our eldest daughter (3.5 years old) but it also fits our youngest daughter who is 18 months old now. We’ve tried both children in it and they both fit in it very comfortably despite their 2 year and 4 months age gap. Our nearly 4-year-old doesn’t nap anymore and rarely falls asleep in the car unless we drive really long distances ( like our trip to Wales earlier this year) or if it’s night-time and she should be in bed. We’ve not been on any road trips since getting this car seat so she’s not napped in it but I know she could fall asleep in it in the daytime as she’s been so close to nodding off but then we’ve reached our destination before she could fall asleep.

The Cozy N Safe Excalibur Graphite Car Seat features an integral 5 point harness which can be used up to 25kg. The Excalibur forward facing car seat features a durable steel reinforced shell, side impact protection, four-position recline and deep padding. This seat is the ultimate way for your little one to travel in style without compromising on comfort. Fitting instructions are essential to ensure that the children’s car seat has been fitted correctly. I would suggest dividing the manual up into step-by-step instructions from start to finish for each of the different possible installation combinations instead of referring to other parts of the manual. I know this would be an increased cost as it would require a longer leaflet to be printed but this could simply be available to access online to save that cost. Despite Stevens’ ambitious pricing, the anachronisms went a little too far in some ways – until 1980, for instance, the Excalibur offered only sidescreens rather than wind-up windows. As the new decade arrived though it brought the Series IV with it, for good and for bad. It featured roll-down windows and a 125-inch wheelbase, but also a 305ci GM V8 rated at just 155bhp. Saddled with a three-speed automatic transmission and a two-tonne kerb weight, the Excalibur was no longer a performance car. Your car seat will either have a 5-point or a 3-point harness to hold your child securely in their seat. The seat is quite heavy at 11kg, so hopefully I won’t be having to take it in and out the car very often. It does seem extremely comfortable, my son has fallen asleep a few times already and we’ve only been on fairly short journeys. http://www.childcarseats.org.uk/choosing-using/children-undoing-their-harness/ Why does my child have to be in the child seat's weight range?
