About this deal

It’s the average thickness for many other regular mousepads out there – not very thick but not the thinnest either. I mean the glide shouldn’t be that big of an issue considering CeRq a player who fast flicks similar to me and plays in a similar way can still flick very fast and accurately on such a slow pad like Zowie G-SR. Not extremely so, but stitched edges definitely do increase the lifespan of a mousepad and if done nicely they’re almost not noticeable when playing, so an option to have those would be welcome in my opinion. This mousepad is very suitable for gamers who like to have a lot of surface to move their arm/wrist on.

Be sure to add the G640 to your collection of gaming products to experience the difference in your mouse’s speed and turns, whether you are starting, stopping, or suddenly changing directions: this mousepad gives you the freedom of movement. While their glide can be seen as pretty similar, for my money the G640 is faster initially (once it wears down it tends to slow down a lot though). It has a great cloth surface with a large area to move on and a solid rubber base to ensure it’s not going to move around. RAZER GIGANTUS TEAM RAZER EDITION – I included this as the first option because I saw a few people say that it’s very similar to the Steelseries QCK+ feel but it has a bit of better control.

The G640 is, despite being advertised as a ‘moderate friction’ pad, pretty fast from what I’ve experienced. If you can stomach a faster pad (or you’d be willing to lower your overall sensitivity to match a faster pad) you can always try something like the Glorious Helios, which will almost completely eliminate the humidity problem. It’s only natural for a mousepad to degrade after time and you’ll see this happen with pretty much any pad that isn’t a hard pad to varying degrees.

Not sure if I'm being over sensitive or to critical but the glide feels more "sticky" since only a week. The logo in the bottom right is painted\stamped on and does give you a different surface feel when your mouse goes over it. I live in India and the humidity here is horrible for mousepads, and to make it worse my palm sweats a bit after a few sessions, because of which my mousepads feel muddy. The only problem I have with this pad is that the "Logitech G" logo at the bottom right corner is annoying as hell as it is printed on the pad itself (unlike my QCK+ Fnatic edition where the logo feels like its part of the pad). Unfortunately all cloth mousepads will degrade over time, so depending on how long you’ve used it for your wear and tear might be considered ‘normal’.Again: I’m not saying that I’m the authority here or that other people don’t know what they’re talking about. That said: if you want a pad with a very similar glide to the G-SR-SE (nothing that I tried is exactly the same) you can always check out the Razer Gigantus V2, that one comes close to the same experience that you get with a G-SR-SE, though as I said the G-SR-SE is still being produced and sold.
