Laura is a cared-for child , she’s been shunted from foster home to foster homes whilst her uncle was unaware of her birth thanks to the estrangement after his own parents divorced taking a child each, this is far from the privately educated protagonists of yore. Ives which I must now visit but what holds the whole thing together is Laura who is a well-crafted and relatable character in that she is a flawed as she is adventurous. This is on Coast Guard property and was closed to the public in 2020 due to idiots trying to take selfies on the rocks and the Coast Guard not wanting to deal with it anymore.Because she kept reminding us, the reader, HOW MUCH SHE loved the freedom and how the other families didn't trust her that much.
