I also found that whether you applied conditioner before you used the dye made no difference to the lasting capability to if you had not. Before I applied the dye it had reached about the same stage of fade-out as it had on this picture of me from New Years Eve. I left in the dye for an hour (the pot only says to leave it on for 15 – 30 minutes) and it still didn’t take to my hair so I can only assume I need bleached white hair for this pastel pink hair dye to take effect which sucks because I don’t ever plan on bleaching my hair.

If you look closely, you will be able to see a very light pink tinge to my hair but it definitely did not go the way it was suppose to.Then wait: You'll want to leave directions hair dye on for between 15 and 30 minutes to develop, rush it and you might not get as bright a colour, leave it too long and it may come out darker or a different shade.
