A complete party-in-a-cup, Tea Party Surprise includes surprise magic tea bags and fizzing sugar cubes that, when mixed with water, reveal jewellery, accessories and other surprise accessories that kids can use to dress and style their Itty Bitty Prettys dolls. Of course she comes with colour-changing mini-wings and has also got make-up that appears on her face when cold is applied. The teapot is super handy for storing all the parts back in, however as I mentioned earlier I would’ve loved to have seen some draws or pots with lids for storing the smaller pieces in. There are some elements which just didn’t work for me personally, mainly the tiny plastic elements with the stretchy mouldable foam. If you have a daughter, grand-daughter, or friend in mind that loves collecting, dolls or tea parties then check out at Target or Walmart.This also brings me to mention that once you have taken the hair accessory off the capsule there’s a hole at the back; this will mean that small parts will fall out. The children then played for ages with their little dolls, having a pretend tea party and changing their clothes and accessories, as well as making pretend cake out of the dough that comes with the set. My initial thought was that this was Mixi, the ultra rare, but then I remembered that she was a recolor of Spice, not Roxette. Whilst Neve really enjoyed playing with the foam itself, the plastic elements haven’t really been used so it felt like a bit of waste. There are also smaller Itty Bitty Pretty sets available so you can collect additional dolls and I think this is where the large tea pot can become really useful as a ‘home’ for all the characters as your collection grows.

The tea cup itself becomes part of the playset after opening as opposed to just being part of the packaging. She has bright pink hair, glittery eyes and make up and the start of what appeared to be a cat outfit – with a black leotard and whiskers painted on to her face.There is a lovely range of characters but a bit disappointing that these all seem to be girls, with no boy dolls in the range.
